Place: Calif. Comments: Well, I'm shocked and saddened to learn Charlie Sheen has tested positive for HIV. It's true what they say; "Bad things happen to good people". He's lived such a stellar, clean and wholesome lifestyle and a real inspiration to my family, especially my grandkids. .......anybody buying this?
Place: Rainy Richardson Comments: I made it fine, and although tired last night, I wasn't as tired as Don! He dropped me & our bags off at home about 1:30 Sunday, then headed to Drippings Springs to take the kids home. He was whipped when he finally got back home some time after 9pm. John - I know a really nice place not far from the Hyatt where you & Dru can stay and the price is unbeatable!! I'll call you with info. Rickypoo - I negotiated a great deal at GWL. It started out dicey, but on my 2nd go round I got the Kids Cabin Suite for less money than the standard family room! Observations at GWL - I was worried about the water park, didn't want to be the fat G-Ma in a bathing suit! I even bought a new suit this year that guaranteed I would look 10 lbs slimmer! (I think I'll ask for my money back!) However, after being in the Water Park for about 30 minutes, I never saw so many 20, 30 & 40 somethings with boobs hanging out & bellies hanging over! Not to mention the over abundance of large all over the body tattoos! Suddenly my self esteem got a little bit better. ![[wink]](/images/boards/smilies/wink.gif "Wink - ;)") We had a great time and the triplets loved doing all the Treasure Hunt Quests that took them all over the hotel.
Place: 66erville Comments: It will be interesting to see how long it will be before SNL regains enough energy to be able to post again after her weekend with the grandkids at Great Wolf lodge.
Place: Big Comments: SNL, we take the kids and Gkids to Great Wolf lodge in December but they raised the price of the rooms. We are saving about $100 X 3 rooms by waiting until January.
Place: The Woodlands Comments: Last December Dru and I traveled to Dallas to attend the annual SOC Christmas Party at Peaches Walker's place and I wanted to make a side visit to the Garrett Metal Detector plant in Garland. I did some heavy searching for a nice but reasonable Hotel that wasn't too far from either place. We ended up booking a room at the Hyatt Place - Garland and were quite pleased with our stay. Checking my records, my room rate was $106 and with tax came to $120.29. So it looks like SNL did really good on your roomrate. We're not sure if we will be coming up Dec. 5th for this year's Christmas party, but if we do I'd book the same hotel.
Place: Reunion Info Comments: Donnie would like to do another video for us for the 50th, but he needs photos! He's asking everyone to send 4 to 7 photos of whatever brings joy to your life and you can share with us. Could be photos of you, you & your spouse, significant other, children, grandchildren, pets, etc. You can send via snail mail, email, disc, thumb drive . . . what ever works for you. Just send photos!! Without photos there can be no video, but please Don't send originals! I posted the info on our Events page too, but please start working on gathering up, or creating, some photos you'd like to share. Pass along this info and let's start creating some memories!!
Place: Richardson Comments: Don left at 7:30 this mrng to go down to Dripping Springs & Pu the G-kids, all 4 of them! Have to wait until 1:00 to PU so not counted as absent. A few wks ago it was the Triplets 11th B-day and this weekend is their celebration party with us. We're taking them back to Great Wolf Lodge!! I know, What Are We Thinking??!! They haven't stopped talking about the trip 2 yrs ago so we thought one-more-time! This time we're bringing the little one, Brooklyn, who is almost 6. We've got everything packed and I'm making chocolate cupcakes with some special decorative toppings I hope they like. Should be a fun wkend with 4 kids & water. Water World . . . here we come!!!

Place: Richardson Comments: Thanks Rod. It took long enough to get a contract, but I did get us a great room rate and some other perks! Will be revealing info on Events page starting next week. Hey, I went to W-M today and stocked up on my OTC drugs. But I swear . . . that current YouTube video is not me!! I wasn't wearing a alter top with my boobs hanging out and I didn't have on short-shorts either! Jack, once it's on the Internet it will haunt you forever! That's what Abby on NCIS said.
Place: Calif. Comments: Rod, it's not WM that makes them crazy, or rude. It's Chipotle Grill up there giving them a sh#$@% attitude. By the time they hit WM, it's Katie-bar-the-door.
Place: Oregun Comments: By comparison we have a very tame WM, must be the Northwest air that doesn't make some as crazy as other areas. The biggest problem I have is people blocking the aisle while talking to someone they probably have already talked to today. They are rude and if you politely ask them to step aside it's like asking them to cut off their arm. Personally I would be happy if they just shut their mouths and moved along. Sandy, it looks like you put in a lot of work for the 50th, we all do appreciate everything you do for us, so take a bow and smile for the WM camera.

Place: Richardson Comments: LOL Thanks for not including me in with those crazy people we see on Youtube! But I do know what you mean . . . !! WM does have the BEST price on OTC drugs, I can't find any store here that can beat their prices. And y'all know I like a bargain!
