Dale, we to have an unlisted driveway, but on Halloween we had a hay ride pull up with 16- small munchkins on board. This was the most we ever had since we've lived here. Enjoyed every min of it.

Reunion Alert - - Please go to our Events pg to get  info on our upcoming 50th Reunion!  The hotel contract is signed, dates confirmed and planning has started. 
I'll be posting add'l info to the Events pg as more info is available.  I secured us a great Room Rate.  $85.00 & all rooms are suites.  And . . .  it includes breakfast!!

No Trick or Treaters for me in the eleven years I've lived here.  Of course, I live six miles out of town on a busy highway.  However, just about every night the raccoon's come and eat my cat's food.  [frown]  Sometimes I bring home the day old donut from work for them or the left over potato from someplace I've.  I do feed the squirrels and deer.[smile]

We had 0 trick r treaters! But then we live in a gated community and there are really no children in the area. I did get some candy just in case. Sooooo......every ten minutes or so I would yell trick or treat and eat some of the candy.

Place: News About 50th Reunion!

Comments:
Ok, the ink is still drying on the contract, but the date has been set!  Our Gold & White 50th Anniversary Reunion will be held on September 23 & 24, 2016.  it will be at the Hyatt Place Hotel in Garland.

I've posted this and other good news on the Events pg this morning.  As we go forward, updates & full info regarding the Reunion and new website will be posted on our Events pg.  Stay tuned, lots of fun and good stuff is in the making ! !

We only had 36 and a neighbor just 6 houses down only had 6. It was very wet, nothing like you have it there but maybe it's time to move Halloween to August when the weather is better.
We are finally getting much needed rain and a little snow in the Cascades so maybe we will have a little more normal winter.

We didn't have as many trick or treaters as we did last year, but they came in large groups. Cars unloading kids and adults were all over the place. Some of our neighbors really go all out decorating their yards, almost as much as Christmas! It was spooky, looking out at the mobs wandering up and down the street. But there were no problems and everyone was nice, most said "thank you". Someone did leave a Mickey-D's sack of trash on the curb.

It's still pretty wet here in Richardson, but  at least it stopped raining.  Hopefully we'll still have a bunch of cute little ones knocking at the door.  Believe it or not here we got 9" rain last week and yesterday thru last night over 4".  But that's nothing compared to what they got south of here around Austin and New Braunfels.
