What a great time we had seeing everyone today! I saw people I haven’t seen in a very long time. We thoroughly enjoyed all the conversations. Everyone looked fantastic. I’m reminded that our group is one tough group with spouses to match. My apologies for the overdose of Purple Martins! He is completely obsessed. I’m learning to just go along with it. In any event, had a really great time with so many dear and special friends! Those of you that weren’t able to be there missed one heck of a get together! Thank you for getting our reservation at El Fenix, Sandy. I hope you find your phone. Later!

hope you all enjoyed the round of drinks I called and ordered for you!

I am testing negative for COVID now but the pneumonia has really worn me out. I get things done for about an hour and then have to rest for a couple.  We went to dinner tonight with a neighbor. She came to see me in the hospital.  I did not know until tonight that her Dad passed away three weeks ago with COVID and pneumonia. That was why she came - to make sure they were doing everything she thought they should.

talked to my Dr Monday about coming to Dallas.  He does not think it is a good idea for me to travel yet so you guys have a drink for me. I am thinking about you.  Next time I will avoid anyone with COVID or pneumonia.  My tongue still feels like I scalded it.  Love ❤️ you guys and hopefully will see you soon.

Susan - So sorry that you won’t be at the mini. Maybe we can have a Christmas in July Ladies Luncheon! You should be much better by then. (Sandy - I am officially volunteering to help if we decide to do this! 💕)

I talked with Cynthia Franklin yesterday. She and Kay won’t be able to attend the mini, but they hope to make the next event. She said that they had such a great time last May.

I talked with Susan Sunde today and her Dr. isn't letting her take off that big boot for 4 more weeks. It comes all the way up to her knee.  She broke the small bone that runs down the front of her leg just below the knee. After 4 more weeks, hopefully she will be able to get into a brace.

Unfortunately, we won't be seeing her at the Mini. [frown]  Get better soon Susan!!
