Place: Richardson Comments: Details, details, details. Jack, if Shortcake won't give you her cr cd #, I'll buy you a Gentleman Jack!
Place: North Richland Hills, TX Comments: Jack, Karen said have a drink FOR me, not ON me. You're welcome, Karen.
Place: Richardson Comments: Jack - You did get her cr cd number didn't you?? Make sure you also get the 3 digit code!
Place: Sachse Comments: Shortcake, sorry you and Bobby won't be at the mini. Might nice of you to buy us all drinks! We will toast you.
Place: Kerrville Comments: talked to my Dr Monday about coming to Dallas. He does not think it is a good idea for me to travel yet so you guys have a drink for me. I am thinking about you. Next time I will avoid anyone with COVID or pneumonia. My tongue still feels like I scalded it. Love ❤️ you guys and hopefully will see you soon.
Place: Overland Park, KS Comments: Susan - So sorry that you won’t be at the mini. Maybe we can have a Christmas in July Ladies Luncheon! You should be much better by then. (Sandy - I am officially volunteering to help if we decide to do this! 💕) I talked with Cynthia Franklin yesterday. She and Kay won’t be able to attend the mini, but they hope to make the next event. She said that they had such a great time last May. See everyone in a week! 💛🤍💛
Place: Richardson Comments: I talked with Susan Sunde today and her Dr. isn't letting her take off that big boot for 4 more weeks. It comes all the way up to her knee. She broke the small bone that runs down the front of her leg just below the knee. After 4 more weeks, hopefully she will be able to get into a brace. Unfortunately, we won't be seeing her at the Mini. Get better soon Susan!!
Place: Richardson Comments: Well darn Susan! I'm so sorry you've hurt yourself. You really shouldn't be kicking Jake so hard, it can be dangerous! I hope that boot comes off soon because I know you want to get out and about. Feel better.
Place: North Richland Hills, TX Comments: Sandy, I don't know if I'll be at the mini or not. I've broken a bone in my left shin and have been using a boot for the last two months. Hopefully I can have it removed this coming Thursday.
Place: Richardson Comments: Earlene, that's great!! Will be so good to see you again! ![]() Karen, I'm so sorry to learn you're in the hospital sick with pneumonia and covid. You said you caught it early, so hopefully you'll be home soon and on the road to a good recovery. Take care!
Place: Kaufman Comments: Sandy—-I told you we would really try to make it to the next mini. And unless some thing happens we will be there!! And the something has to be bad for us to miss it!! Looking forward to seeing you again!!
Place: Kerrville tx Comments: Happy Easter. Not a great one for me - I am in the hospital here. Mixture of pneumonia on both lungs and Covid. Dr said Covid attached to weakest point and grows there. I got here pretty quick so should be ok.
Place: Dallas Comments: Some plants will freeze and look dead but grow from the roots like the English Ivy in front of my house.
Place: Rainy Richardson Comments: Rick, funny story. Don & I got married in Feb 1985. Had bought the house in Addison and only front was landscape. 1st yr no flowers. By 2nd yr we had made flower/shrub beds in the back. Mom said, "Don't plant those little bedding plants until after Easter." OK. 3rd yr. Easter was later, like this year, and I planted them the week before Easter. You know where this is going . . . it didn't freeze but it got down to 39 one night. Mom & dad came up that weekend and all she said when she saw the wilted Caladiums was, "You should have waited until after Easter".
Place: Dallas Comments: Yes Sandy, Mom's advice is as good as the Farmers Almanac. |
