Great time yesterday at my brother's house. Good food and nice to be with our little small family. Of course the topper was the Cowboy's big win!! But, the icing on the cake . . . Dolly's performance!! We're all sitting and waiting for the lights to come up and then . . . WOW! Dolly in all her sparkle and beauty! Best performance on Thanksgiving in a long long time!!!

Hey Girls, regarding our SOC '66 Girls Lunch on 12-2, Let's just go to the same place as we always do! Why break a tradition!? Let's met at the El Fenix in Plano at 11:30 for lunch. It's on the East side of Hwy 75 and right there along with the Olive Garden & Hooters! That's where we've gone for a long time and also after the Minis.

SOC '66 Girls Christmas Luncheon at El Fenix in Plano on the Hwy 75 access road. It's just 1 blk N. of Plano Pkwy. at 11:30am on Saturday, Dec. 2. I'll have a table reserved for us. Please RSVP to me by Thursday, Nov. 30. 972-918-0781 or email sandylynn754@gmail.com

Speaking of photos, there are still many blank frames in the slideshow labeled “Military photo not available”. That’s because I’ve never received any and, unfortunately, some of those vets have passed on. So, if you’re reading this and haven’t provided a photo, please contact me by e-mail or cell tel# below.

For those who’ve submitted vet photos, thank you very much for supporting this effort. I could use your help by prodding the others to get onboard and send theirs. Spouses - that's your cue!

To all our SOC Girls who love having our SOC Luncheons, please reserve Saturday, December 2, 2023 for our annual SOC '66 Girls Christmas Lunch! You have plenty of time to tell your Kids you can't baby sit that day during lunch and don't make other plans either.

We can decide what restaurant later, but right now, mark your calendar for Dec 2 for SOC '66 girls lunch!! Make plans, call a friend and encourage them to attend.

I agree Jack, I really enjoyed sitting around the table and talking and laughing at the funny stories. Unfortunately, several were sick and others couldn't make it. the smallest turnout for a mini ever! We had 15 people. 10 of us went to Southern Recipes for dinner and we all really enjoyed the afternoon and the dinner.

Sorry James, not going to be lots of pictures, we were all too busy talking and laughing! A stranger came by as Don Brunson was about to take a pic of us all sitting around the table at the Hilton and offered to take the shot. then the waitress at the breakfast took a photo. I'll put them on FB shortly. Sometimes, photos aren't needed to enjoy the company your with.
