Place: Richardson Comments: I'm going to give you a pass this year for being late. I hear you are in a transition to a new home. You hate moving as much as I do, so my heart goes out to you. I may just die in this house, even though it's now way too big for us, because I can't stand the thought of moving!!! Hope it was a good B-day and Christmas despite the move. Happy New Year Jerry!
Place: Katy, TExas Comments: I apologize for the late entry, I was away from computers for a few days. Happy Birthday to my twin. As Jack said earlier we have all known each other for more years that we all want to count (about 70 years) and it has been my pleasure to have known them for that long.
Place: Richardson Comments: We had a great Christmas at my brother's house here in Dallas. I think I'm recovering from a sugar high from all the goodies I've been eating. If you're interested in joining us at Uncle Julios Jan 1st at 11:30, please do! We have 8 people so far that said they would be there, so come on out. It's the location right off the N.Dallas Tollway at Keller Springs. We'll toast to a new year and have lunch.
Place: Richardson Comments: Well, you really know how to make a girl feel old . . . the 36th anniversary of our 40th???? It is what it is, just glad to be here and to still have great friends like you and Jerry and all my other SOC friends. Merry Christmas Jack & Glynda and a big Happy B-day to my twin from another mother! We've made another year! ![]()
Place: Sachse Comments: A very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to two friends I have had the pleasure to know since Lisbon school days, SNL AKA Sandy Norman Lynn and Jerry Tillery (who doesn't do birthdays). So HAPPY ANNIVERSARY of your 36th 40th birthday!!
Place: Richardson Comments: Gordy & I were talking today & we want to know if any of you SOC '66ers would like to met at 11:30am on New Year's Day to celebrate the New Year!! Have a drink to toast the New Year & have lunch. Location not determined yet, need to know who all is interested in joining us before a site is selected. We used to do this but the pandemic stopped this tradition too. We can meet, drink a toast to the NY and then have lunch and enjoy visiting.
Place: Richardson Comments: Well, for those wondering about our Girls Luncheon. We had it, but unfortunately our attendees started dropping like flies. Only 3 of us were well enough and able to attend. Several were sick, several were helping ill family members and others had other events to attend. However, the 3 of us, Carol, Kathy & myself, ordered a Margarita and toasted all who couldn't be there! The food & service was very good. Hope everyone is feeling better!
Place: Chilly in Richardson Comments: I know it's not quite December but, with the cold weather and Thanksgiving gone, thought the wreath and Holly seemed appropriate. I believe winter is about to be upon us. We're getting out the Christmas decor today as it's too cold & windy to be outside. To the SOC Girls, still need to hear from many of you with a Yes about attending our annual luncheon. You can leave a message here, send me email at sandylynn754@gmail.com or feel free to call me at 972-918-0781. Must have your reply by 11-30, which is Thursday! Thanks to those who have already replied!
Place: Sunny Richardson Comments: Great time yesterday at my brother's house. Good food and nice to be with our little small family. Of course the topper was the Cowboy's big win!! But, the icing on the cake . . . Dolly's performance!! We're all sitting and waiting for the lights to come up and then . . . WOW! Dolly in all her sparkle and beauty! Best performance on Thanksgiving in a long long time!!! Hope everyone enjoyed the day, and if you're like me, you're still stuffed!
Place: Richardson Comments: FYI - If you're planning to email, call or text me today, just know it will probably be late today before I can respond. Today is BAKE DAY! Making 3 sides and two desserts for tomorrow at my brother's house. Wishing each one of you a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving Day!! May we all be thankful to live in this country and for all those who have made it possible. Be kind to your family & friends and root for a Cowboys win tomorrow!
Place: Richardson Comments: Another rsvp Yes, add Ann H. to those attending the luncheon. š
Place: Richardson Comments: We can add another name to that luncheon list. Kathy Arrington has confirmed Yes. Yeah!
Place: Overland Park, KS Comments: Iām happy that we will be at El Fenix again. I like the tradition. šš¤š
