Place: The Ranch Comments: Like Toni, I missed getting to say " Hello" to everyone. - so Hello to all that we're there and to those that couldn't be there- you were missed.
Place: If interested in the Saturday Night Video Comments: I'm going to repeat my earlier message about the Sat Night video for those who may have missed it. See below. Attention: Yes, there will be an opportunity to purchase the Fugate Video from Saturday Night. Donnie will send a mass email to all '66ers asking if you want to buy one. It will be low cost (enough to cover purchase of CD, case & postage) and if you're interested please respond to Donnie's email. I'm giving you a Heads Up so you will be looking for his email within the next week or so. We're working on the email list and details. Wait for the email, then respond. We like to keep it simple. You must reply to Donnie's email when you receive it, not on the GB or FB.
Place: Plano, Texas Comments: Donnie - I want to buy a CD from Saturday's Reunion. Many thanks - Janice Janice Scallorn Lewter
Place: Fort Worth Comments: Ditto on all the previous comments about our 50th anniversary. Thanks also to Kellye (Fugate) Vierling and Carla Brown for their assistance in decorating the party room and working the sign-in table. Like Toni, I am still reliving the party and seeing all those I haven't seen in years. Thanks to our wonderful planning committee for all the hard work and creativity.
Place: OKC Comments: The reunion was great! Thanks to all who made it possible. I just saw in the directory that Terry Smith's name was listed with address unknown. I am sorry to say that Terry passed away in May of 2013 as a result of many serious illnesses. He was living in Tennessee at the time.
Place: NH Comments: Yes, Donnie, I want one....it was awesome! I will wait with baited breath for your email!
Place: Richardson Comments: A quick correction for your directory. PLEASE go to Gordy Johnson in your new directory and correct his email to be: gordyshotstuff@aol.com . Apparently I had a senior moment and typed it wrong!! Richard Nance, are you seeing this? I feel bad since he's one of my oldest friends form Kildare street!
Place: Richardson, TX Comments: Attention: Give the Committee a few days to recuperate and get several things done regarding wrapping up the reunion. When the reunion is over there are still loose ends to tie up. But, in response to all the inquiries we got during the reunion and afterward - Yes, there will be an opportunity to purchase the Fugate Video from Saturday Night. Donnie will send a mass email to all '66ers asking if you want to buy one. It will be low cost (enough to cover purchase of CD, case, postage) and if you're interested please respond to Donnie's email. I'll have to say, Donnie out did himself on this video production. Wow! What an amazing job! And yes, I can't wait to buy one myself. He always does good work, but this one was outstanding. Thank you all for such nice comments about the Reunion. But just remember, it wouldn't have been a good reunion without each of you who attended. It's the people who make the reunion great. All the rest is just the trimming on the tree! ![]()
Place: Sugar Land Comments: Thank you, Sandy, for being the glue to hold everything together. The rest of the group did an awesome job too. I'm very grateful for all you did. I had a wonderful time getting reacquainted with everyone.
Place: Calif. Comments: Reunion was flawless. All those who put it together are to be commended. Really a nice job.

Place: Paradise Comments: Oh! What a Week-end!!!! It was AWESOME! Hat's off to the Reunion Committee. It doesn't seem like it's been 50 years! I loved the purple hair Thank you Karen Melton Davis for putting some purple in my hair. Still on a high from this week-end and already looking forward to our Mini in the Spring I'm anxious to see the pictures from the reunion, posted on the Guestbook. (I'm not on FB)
Place: Melissa USA Comments: Where are my manners...I left out a very important part of the successful reunion...Don Broughton! Still reliving the weekend! We had such a good time.
Place: Dallas Comments: This was by far the absolute best reunion ever. Sarah and I had such a blast. We danced more at this one than the previous ones combined, broken neck and all. Thanks Sandy for dancing the Twist with me. As awkward as I looked, it was priceless. And a big thanks to Charolette Hillburn for dancing with me also. Charolette was my date to the Lisbon Elementary School 6th grade banquet. By the way, if any of you are still hungry, the hotel kitchen has 190 boxes of extra chicken left from Saturday night. If you are not interested, they will be given to the 10 people who are still standing at the doors to the banquet room wanting to pay and get in.
Place: Back home Comments: We crashed and burned after we got home Sun about noon. But up today and moving slowing. On 2nd pot of coffee. A couple of things relevant o the reunion: This was the 3rd straight Reunion our Committee put together. Please let me THANK the other 5 people because without them . . . I wouldn't look very good. One person can't put on a big reunion. Each of us has our niche. So, Thank You to Donnie & Barbara Fugate, Jack Hawkins and the two members who married into our SOC '66 group . . . Jack's wife Glynda and my husband Don!! It takes a village to put on a successful reunion and these friends do a great job. We all enjoyed the reunion & we're glad you did too! Sandra - Just so y'all know, I didn't hear the Carnack routine prior to the debut Sat night. But I "think" Donnie called him "Prosac the not so magnificent" or something like that. Perhaps Jack or Donnie will clear it up for us. I was sitting there listening to Donnie & I almost missed my queue to open the door for Jack. When I opened it & saw him standing there I cracked up as taht was the 1st time Id seen him in the outfit. Those two always make me laugh! |
