Place: Sugar Land Comments: I meant to bring my little golden bear that I got from the school many, many years ago ( I hate to say 50). He is in ok condition with one arm loose. I, too, did not see and talk to everyone. It was great fun!
Place: Richardson Comments: Carol - I really enjoyed your pho call last night! Now reading your post does bring tears to my eyes because I already miss everyone. Donnie sent the email out regarding how many are interested in purchasing his Saturday Night production. I have to say, it was his best ever! He out did himself on this one! He sent email to everyone who has given me their email. THIS is why it's important to keep your info current so we can reach you when necessary. The cost will be very low, enough to cover the cost of supplies, duplication and postage. He will send another email to all who responded with the amount and where to send the check. FYI - Checks are always made out to: SOC 66 Reunion Fund . . . never to Donnie or myself. It goes into the Fund to pay the expenses. Place: Overland Park, KS Comments: Has anyone ever had a better 50th Reunion than the SOC Class of 1966? I think not! I have to echo what several have said - I meant to talk with so many, but the time just flew by. Hopefully I can make amends at our future mini get-togethers. In addition to thanking our wonderful, dedicated reunion committee members - Sandy, Jack, Barbara, and Don - I want to thank another group - the significant others of many of our class members, who faithfully attend our SOC gatherings and who are really our adopted classmates. I apologize in advance for failing to mention someone - but here goes. Thank you - Don Broughton, Glynda Hawkins, Barbara Fuentes, Ben Clayton, Bill Smith, Bobby Louton, Carolyn Burrow, Charlene Browning, Connie McKee, Geneva Young, Joyce Tillery, Marilyn Watts, Mike Davis, Myrna Harrison, Sarah Smith! ...and thanks to our friends from other SOC classes who joined in the celebration! Charlene Browning and I talked briefly Saturday night about what makes our Class of '66 gatherings so special. I had given that a lot of thought prior to the reunion. I believe that - when our class gathers - we are coming home to one another - to our shared friendships, our shared experiences, our shared memories - all of which have become that more precious because we no longer have the neighborhoods of our youth to come home to. We are blessed to have been raised in those neighborhoods and to have been part of wonderful families - and we are blessed to have one another. (Is there a Hallmark or an animal rescue commercial on TV right now - 'cause here come the tears!) Eagerly awaiting the video and the photos! Love to all - Carol
Place: SOCrates condition Comments: After going thru Shortcakes photos and then the Photo Booth pics . . . I now understand why SOCrates was so tired Sunday evening and all day Monday. He could hardly sit up in his chair! Based on photos, he apparently drank too much Fri night and then had a wild time in the photo booth! He's always been a party animal. He's resting in the upstairs bedroom.

Place: Info Regardign the Sat Night DVD Comments: In case you haven't looked at your email recently, Don Fugate has sent you a personal note with info about purchasing a dvd from Sat night. Please respond to his email so he will know how many dvd's & cases to buy. This is one of the many reasons you should keep your info updated with me. ![[biggrin]](/images/boards/smilies/biggrin.gif "Big Grin - :D") The process has started . . . now it's up to you to respond! I'm excited because I missed some of it at the end. Plus, I want to see all the pics again and again and again!
Place: Richardson Comments: Lonnie has now posted some of the Sat night photos. On all his photos posts on FB I "Share" them so all my FB friends can see them. Lonnie is going to give me CDs with ALL his photos. I'll post them on our site and give all of you an opportunity to get whatever you want. But first, I have to figure out How to post them. I haven't done it on the new site. ![[confused]](/images/boards/smilies/confused.gif "Confused - :confused:") But I'll get 'er done. Today I'm getting the envelopes ready so I can mail the 11 directories to people who couldn't attend. Next will be the photos. Until I get them up... enjoy them on FB! Lonnie has done an outstanding job on both Fri & Sat night. Thank you Lonnie Harmon my friend from class of '64!
Place: Cincinnati OH Comments: I'm still reliving all the sweet memories of our fabulous 50th reunion. It was wonderful to see everyone! Reuniting with my best high school friends was heart warming and so exciting. Then there were classmates who I knew casually or not at all back then, with whom I connected in a really special way during the reunion. It was wonderful to say hello and so hard to say goodbye in the end. I know you say this was the final big one but I secretly hope there will be another one in 5 years. Thank you to Sandy and all the organizers to made this such a great and memorable reunion! The decorations, the food, the videos and the entire setup, were just perfect.
Place: Saturday Night's Video Comments: I'm going to keep repeating my earlier message about the Sat Night video because new people sign on each day. See below. Attention: Yes, there will be an opportunity to purchase the Fugate Video from Saturday Night. Donnie will send a mass email to all '66ers asking if you want to buy one. It will be low cost (enough to cover purchase of CD, case & postage) and if you're interested please respond to Donnie's email. I'm giving you a Heads Up so you will be looking for his email within the next week or so. We're working on the email list and details. Wait for the email, then respond. We like to keep it simple. You must reply to Donnie's email when you receive it, not on the GB or FB.
Place: Corpus Christi, Tx Comments: Had a wonderful time at the reunion. Everything was great. Had a horrible time driving home, got caught up in a bad storm. Finally made it home safe. Thanks for a great time,and it was nice to see everyone there.
