Place: Richardson Comments: Good one Rod! Are you still iced in? Has it melted yet? Starting to get serious about Christmas. Laid it out for wrapping. With the dreaded cold coming Sunday and Monday I figure I can wrap everything inside where it's nice and warm. Everyone stay warm with this upcoming cold snap. Don't forget about the water hoses (make sure they're disconnected from the facet) and bring in your animals. . . they get cold too!!
Place: Icy Oregun Comments: I have my experience with drones here at work every day, people here just drone on and on and on.
Place: Melissa USA Comments: Had my first experience with Drones last Christmas. I'm sure you read that they must be registered with the federal government! Oh what fun it is...
Place: Richardson Comments: Went shopping today to finish getting presents for the G-kids. I took the big kid with me (Don) as the kids always like the toys he picks out. Let's see . . . we got Nerf Guns that shoot bullet shaped nerf ammo 90 ft and Drones that will go up to 25 mph. Should be an interesting Christmas week when the G-kids are here! Good thing the Hospital/ER is less than 4 miles from our house. But I had to put my foot down when Don wanted the BIG Super Drone for himself. I can only handle so many kids and drones at one time.
Place: Richardson Comments: I talked with Charles for few minutes Saturday afternoon. He was just about to be set free so told him to sign the papers so he could get outta there and I'd talk with him Sunday. Talked with Charles today and he's better but doctors can't agree on what is causing his problems! But of course, he was at his Mom's taking care of her. As always . . . he's positive, never gives up and worried about his Mom. He's doing as well as can be expected. Always tells me not to worry about him . . . But, I can always pray for him!
Place: Cypress springs Comments: I am glad to be home but mostly because the numbness is gone now. Course that brings pain and I am avoiding the pain meds until I start PT on Monday. It was weird to tell your arm to move and have no control over it. Glad that part is over. Bobby wrapped my shoulder in plastic yesterday so I could get a shower and wash my hair. Felt fantastic. My neighbor brought over some tomato soup from La Madeline along with cookies so Bobby could have a night off from cooking. It will be great to get this behind me and feel good again.
Place: Mansfield, Txi Comments: Charles went in to ER on Thursday because he was having dizzy spells. As of today, they are evaluating his medicines, and tomorrow the doctors will meet to discuss his situation. He should know something by Saturday, and hopes to go home Sunday. Thanks for keeping him in your prayers.
Place: Oregun Comments: Does anyone know how Jack Sanders is doing, haven't heard anything on his for some time now. I am finished with the Dr now and have been fitted for a new shoe and inserts to fill the void left from the amputation. Everything is healed and now waiting for the shoes so I can start driving again. Driving with the boot is not a good idea, I have never gone 4+ months without driving and after 24 years of truck driving, it is more than a little boring just sitting there. Linda is a very good driver but I am ready to get behind the wheel again. I hope all of you are doing well, getting healed up from surgeries and illnesses. My best to all of you.
Place: North Richland Hills Comments: Does anyone know how Charles Moss is doing?
Place: Richardson Comments: Glad to hear you're home Shortcake & your personal nurse is taking care of you! I can only imagine how weird it is to not have feeling in your hand. Kinda like leaving the dentist office and trying to drink a hot cup of coffee . . . not good! How's everyone else?? I've spent two days shopping for three 12-year-olds and one almost 7-year-old. it was much easier when they were small and any toy would do it. Now . . . I'm struggling to find something they won't think is lame. Any way, we're Ok and bracing for the Cold that's suppose to hit us tonight and tomorrow night. First big below freezing temps for two nights then back up some.
Place: Cypress springs Comments: I am home now but my hand.and parts of my arm are still numb. Figuring out how to do things with left hand is not fun either. It helps having Bobby around. He does everything and makes sure the pain meds are on time. Will be in a sling for 6 weeks and then physical therapy. Glad the feeling is coming back in my hand....it is really a weird feeling when you cannot control your hand.
Place: Lazy S Ranch Comments: Jack, I was told a story about a missionary that was caught by a band of cannibals while working in Africa and was cut up and eaten. Soon after this horrible event, every one of the tribesmen that took even one bite got sick and threw-up. This also helps prove that you can't keep a good man down. Glad to hear Ada is doing well.
Place: Sachse Comments: So glad to hear Ada is home, up and moving around. You just can't keep good people down. We have seen that many times with our group. Anyone can use Epson ink cartridges # 60. I have both (new) color and black I'd be glad to give you. Let me know asap.
Place: Rainy & Cold in Richardson Comments: Thanks for checking-in Ada Ann. Glad to know you're home and things are at least tolerable. Praying for a quick recovery and that you'll be shaking your booty real soon!
Place: NH Comments: Still on the road to recovery. Moving around more and pain level is tolerable. |
