It's Christmas Eve and I hope all is well at your house.  It's wet, cloudy and a far cry from the gorgeous weather we had for Thanksgiving.  But regardless of the clouds and dampness I always have the sunshine of our SOC Group!  Thank you for your many years of friendship and kindness.

May you be safe and warm this Christmas and be able to share your love with friends and/or family.

And, as we always say, "SOC Friends are the Best!"  Merry Christmas everyone!!

Thank you Jerry!  I like your concept of celebrating the "anniversary" of our 40th.  Always think of you and glad that we share the same birthday.  it's rare to know someone so long and still jbe friends.  Best Wishes for today and many more my friend!!

Let me be the first to wish my twin a Happy Anniversary.  As some of you may remember, I quit celebrating birthdays many years ago.  Now I celebrate the anniversary of my 40th birthday.  So today is the 29th anniversary of of our 40th.  So Happy Anniversary to my good friend and twin SNL.

Also, a Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all my "old" friends from SOC.

Beats the heck outta me!!  I hate that he wasn't selected.  I couldn't believe it yesterday when they made the announcement.  He certainly deserves to be in the Pro Bowl.

Can someone please explain to me why Sean Lee was not picked to the Pro Bowl?

What  an imaginative group we have.  We heard from Nance & Hawkins, now all we need is Smiley!

Today is Christmas gift wrapping day!  The weather is cold but at least the sun is shinning. Don is picking up the 4 G-kids on Tuesday after Christmas, so that gives me a little extra time for their gifts.

Hope everyone is well and looking forward to Christmas with family or friends.  Merry Christmas SOCites!!

You could be right Annette, but nobody would want to look at the advertising.

Annette, I think you're warming up to get back into stand up comedy; I'll buy a ticket.

Anthony Weiner is calling his friends in the restaurant
Business for franchise opportunities.
Maybe he could snag a Der Weinerschnitzel store
in flyover country.

I hate cold weather! Especially when I cannot put a coat on one arm! Totally frustrating. Have a Dr appt this week to get stitches out.... hoping I will be able to start using my arm more.
Got to go do shopping also. Bobby is the only one in the family getting anything at this point. If anyone wants to go shopping for me..... feel free!

We went to Krogers on Maple street earlier this week. Saw Don Brunson there. He was easy to spot since he was dancing in front of an end cap display.
This weather is nuts. At 11:00 yesterday, we were in shorts at the car wash. It was 78 degrees. By the time we left for church at 4:00, it was 49 degrees and a wind chill of 29.
Merry Christmas to all!

Yes, we still  have the ice on the trees and buildings but the local roads are clear. The Cascades have almost 6' of snow so the ski resorts are happy. This is the most snow they've had in 3 or more years. We've had a dusting locally but nothing stayed. Supposed to be in the teens tonight so none of the ice is melting with our high today at 33. We are still better off than Ada and the northeast though.
