I'm sorry to hear of Mike Dunn's passing.  I was hoping to see him at the 50th.  He and I go back to the 1st or 2nd grade.  I enjoyed riding in his mother's 57 Chevy. We were in the same Cub Scout Den and were plank holders of Pack 503/Troop 696/Post 696.  Glen Tucker's mother was our Den Mother.  We were in scouts together till we graduated from SOC.  RIP Mike.

Happy New Year to all!!  I haven't been on PC for two days.  the 4 G-kids were here from Tue until Don took them home Sunday.  Had a great time, but tired!

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you of the passing of one of our classmates.  I received and Em from Angela Dunn this morning telling me her husband, Mike Dunn, passed away.  Mike has had many strokes over the last few years and it had left him in bad shape.  The last stroke, just before our reunion, had left him barely able to move one side and the other was paralyzed.  He emailed me off and on and the last time was at Thanksgiving.  Angela's Em said he passed away on Dec. 13, 2016.  The Drs said it was related to his many strokes and bad heart.

Hope all have a great 2017. We just returned from Fredericksburg. Toured the Nimitz Museum. Took us 5 hours and still did not finish.

Ada, check in with us so we'll know you're OK. Hear you going to get a heck of a snow storm.
Bring in extra firewood and hunker down. STAY SAFE!

Christmas Wishes to all!

If you know of a fellow SOCite in your area who might need a friend this season, please reach out.

Here's to remembering the love shared in Christmases past and to remembering that - even in years that have not been the kindest - there is reason to rejoice at Christmas.

Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord."

- Luke 2:10-11 NKJV

Love you all!

Carol

"Backward, turn backward, oh, time in your flight!  Make me a child again just for tonight!"
