It was great being with all who attended the mini on Saturday.  Already looking forward to the September get-together to be with all of you again - and hopefully others will be able to join us.

Jack, I am so very sorry for your great loss.  Wish that I could be there to give you and Glynda big hugs.  Take care of yourselves and each other.

Love - Carol

Jack, I'm so sorry to hear about your Brother. Having lost my Sister I know these are trying time. Know that you have hundreds of friends that are praying for you and your family. I know this won't ease the pain but knowing you have so many thinking about you can provide some comfort. We are a close 'family' and when one is hurting we all hurt.

Happy Spring to all!  We have had a very mild winter and it decided to hit us last week and it was very cold.  Now the weather is see sawing up and down.  Soon we will have spring also.  I hope you are all enjoying the Texas wildflowers.  They are so beautiful!

A quick note to let y'all know Richard L. Hawkins, SOC 1959, who always introduced himself as my "older, smarter, better looking brother", after a long battle with various illnesses, has gone to a better world with no more pain. Services most likely will be Thursday, the 23rd, at Restland.
Rest In Peace, Richard.

First off, let me say I appreciate the effort of those who came to the Mini last Saturday!  We had 24 and 14 of us went to dinner afterward.  We had a good time and everyone mingled.  Unfortunately no one brought a camera and no one seemed to miss it.  Therefore, no one should be holding their breath waiting for photos fro the Mini . . .  !

I'd like to thank the people who came and helped make it a great day!  In no particular order: Sam & Sarah, Terry & Jerry (friends of Sam & Sarah from '67) Don & Barb, Ronnie & Connie, Carol C (who drove in fro KC) Susan S, Donald M, Gordy J, Charles M, Gary D, Rick M, Otis Mc, David K, Dewayne B, Linda R, Jimmy M, Kathy & Fred  and yours truly, Don & me.

I think summer is creeping in way too early, hope it's not warming up for a hooter than heck summer!!
