Place: Richardson Comments: Still don't know a Donna Stice. Be careful who you accept as "Friends" on FB. It can open you up to unwanted attention from people you don't really know. Had meeting with Jenny at the Holiday Inn today regarding having our 70th B-day party there. Since the hotel was totally remodeled, they have a nice big bar area that's very open & it also includes a seating area because they serve breakfast & dinner. Keep in mind, we will still have a spring Mini and then we'll have a fun 70th B-day Party in Sept. I'm looking at Saturday, Sept 22, 2018. There will NOT be any invitations mailed out! That is too labor intensive & costly. You'll need to read our Events page to get all the info. As soon as I sign the contract I will start posting info. I'll post reminders on FB advising 66ers to go to the EVENT pg, but no invitation will be posted on FB. Y'all have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving!! Catch you later, I think I hear dressing & sweet potato casserole begging to be made!

Please Wait for it to process, be patient, and it will then show your post. Takes about 5-6 seconds where before it was almost immediate. But don't worry, we'll just read it twice! LOL I feel the same way Ronney - Seems like with each of our Minis or Reunions, I enjoy them more each time!

Place: Richardson Comments: Thank you so much for the many votes I received here & via email. Seems most are wanting to have our regular Mini in the Spring & the big 70th Bash in September. I think that's the best way to go. It gives me more time to plan a fun party & it gives our out-of-town and out-of-state folks time to make travel plans. I'm meeting with Jenny at Holiday Inn on Central (just 1 block south of the Double Tree) on Tuesday morning and we're going to talk "Money". They have a very nice event room & I want to see how much food we have to order to get the room. You always pay for "food" and the "room" is included! Seriously, that's how it works.I'm not looking to have a sit-down plated dinner like at the reunions. But some heavy hot & cold hors d'oeuvres and a fabulous b-day cake. She said I can bring the cake, don't have to order from hotel. I want to keep the price down low so it doesn't pose a hardship on anyone. We're almost all retired and I don't think any of us want to pay $75 or more per person to attend an event. My brain is now in "planning Mode", so who knows what I can come up with between now and September 2018!!!

Place: Voting Poll Regarding 70th BD Party Comments: I'm re-posting this because numerous Votes were placed & it was getting further down the page. Thanks to all who are voting here & via my Em! Your opinion matters! OK Gang - Here's the big question - Pick Option 1, 2 or 3 1) Do you want to have a Spring Mini in Mar or April and then a 70th B-day Party in June OR 2) Have only a 70th B-day party in June (no Mini) OR 3) Would you rather have a Spring Mini and wait until Sept to have a 70th B-day Party? I was meeting with the Holiday Inn yesterday and they are being very accommodating. I would need until June to be able to put everything in place for B-day Party. The Minis are easy so no problem. I think a Mini in the Spring and a big Bash in Sept would be great, but I'll leave it up to YOU! Feel free to send me an Em vote or post here. I'll keep a tally. I would appreciate your input!
