Place: Home Comments: I am home, only spent one night there but was pretty tired yesterday. All is well but will be off my feet for a while.
Place: Richardson Comments: Now I'm beginning to worry. Rod's surgery was Tuesday and now on Friday, still no word. Hopefully by tomorrow we'll hear some good news.
Place: Richardsonq Comments: No, not yet Jim. He said he would have Linda post something but maybe she's been staying at the hospital. I believe the surgery was yesterday. I think she may post something on FB, or maybe here, not sure. I'm anxious too. Hope he's doing well.

Place: Lazy S Ranch Comments: I remember Steve Short as being one of the nicest guys at SOC. He was just fun to be around. I'm sorry to hear he is dealing with serious health issues. Yuvonne and I will pray for him, his family and the care-givers that hopefully provide comfort during his treatment. SNL, as long as we are giving away cars, I could use a new F-250 diesel truck to haul hay and cows. :-).
Place: Info on Steve Short Comments: Thank you Gary for the info below on Steve Short both here and on FB. That way more of our group will see it. I now have a current address for Steve Short. 157 Summer Night Cove, Buda, TX 78610. The address in the 50th Reunion Directory is no longer valid. He would probably enjoy cards from his old friends.
Place: Mansfield, Tx Comments: I posted a rather lengthy prayer request on Facebook tonight, but I wanted it shared on the SOC site. This will be much shorter. Our good friend and classmate, Steve Short, has multiple myeloma cancer. Barbie has agreed that we could share the info because they desire all the prayer they can get. He will have a stem cell procedure, which begins October 15, requires much hospital time, and will make him very weak and very sick. After a few weeks, he will enter a cancer clinic for 7-10 days. This cancer is not curable, but treatable, with cancer medicine for the rest of his life. The docs say he is otherwise healthy, and expect him to live 10-15 more years. Steve and Barbie said to say thank you and they so appreciate your prayers. We do, also, because they are very dear to us.
Place: Fall in Richardson Comments: Today, with the cooler temps and rain this morning, just feels like fall. Time to change the images. We got rain here in East Richardson since early morning and up until about 9am. Hope everyone got rain as well. Feels great!
Place: Richardson Comments: No John, I didn't see Sue. I actually forgot your sister was from '67. If I had remembered I would have made a point to find her. Boy . . . would I have had questions!! ![[tongue]](https://cdn.websitetoolbox.com/images/boards/smilies/tongue.gif "Tongue - :p") However, I did have several people from '67 find me and I did remember them. I saw a lot of the BMF Golf guys and numerous old friends I hadn't thought of in years. I had lots of people I didn't even know come up to me and ask about several of our '66 classmates. Besides Charles Moss and the Smith's, Bobby Dove was there as his wife Bonnie is from '67. I think I had a Great Time . . . I must have, because I didn't get home till after 1:30am. I couldn't believe it was that late! The class of '67 pulled it off and it was a good reunion!

Place: Kerrville Comments: Sounds like everything is coming together for the reunion next month. I will be in New York on that date so will not make it to the party. Hope everyone has fun!
