Our son Tony and daughter-in-law Rhonda from Baton Rouge made us Grandparents with twin RAGIN' CAJUNS! Now they are even more Ragin' in their terrible twos.

Seems like we had a flurry of Grandones about 10 to 12 yrs ago, then we kind of hit a dry spell.  now we're having a new crop.  How wonderful.

For those of you not on FB, Michael Smith, Marty's son, posted a photo of him & his dad and said he was doing much better.  Hopes to come home from Rehab later this week.  Great news for Sammy's brother Marty.  Marty was the SOC Bear in '63

That makes 4 Ada Ann, congrats to you too.  Seems a flurry on new & precious Grandones being born recently.  How wonderful for all of us!

Don is going out the door headed over to my brother's house to pick him up for the Lancaster ride this morning.  The cold front came thru overnight & it's chilly!  Wind is horrible!  I have a feeling when they start loading his bike onto the rack in the back of the Edge they may change their minds.  Cole & very windy not the best conditions for a long bike ride.

Glad me & Tiger are warm and safe here in the house having coffee & kitty treats.

I am proud to announce that Connie and I helped welcome our new grandson, Lucas Paul McKee, to the world around 12:03 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Hendricks Medical Center in Abilene, TX. He is beautiful, if I do say so myself.  This old grandpa could not help getting teary eyed when he held him for the first time. Just getting emotional in my old age, I guess!  LOL  Lots of curly black hair. Got Native American in him from my side of the family, and LOTS of it from his mom's side. Older sister, Lila Kathleen McKee, loving him, even if he is not the girl she had wanted her mom to have. LOL Going to be fun watching both of the grandones growing up!!

Sammy - We appreciate the update on your brother Marty.  Hopefully the pneumonia will get better by Sunday evening and he can begin rehab and recovery.  Will continue prayer for Marty, & of course, you & Sarah.

Marty has been moved from ICU to room 562 and will be in that room through the weekend. He will then be going to a rehab facility for 5-7 days. He was originally scheduled to leave for the facility this weekend, but his heart rate was 120.
Thank you John for keeping the class of '63 updated.

A big "Thank You" to Sam Smith for posting the information about his brother Marty. Terrible news, indeed. I will share the info on the SOC '63 Guestbook. Marty has quite a legacy with our class.

Sounds great Shortcake!  That's a much bigger place than the other casita since this one is 2-story & a basement.  Wow!  I love it that you have a Koi pond, how neat!  Look forward to seeing some pics of that casita and the Koi fish.
