You're right Don L., 1-8 was Sally Taylor's B-day and 1-9 is Doc's B-day.  Happy B-day & Best Wishes to you both.  Please drop by the GB and say Hello to us. This is where important info regarding our class is posted.  Not everyone wants their personal life splashed across a FB feed. [rofl] [eek]

I'm sure this new year will bring many challenges to a lot of us.  Time to sit back with a cup of coffee and reflect on how we will meet each new day.  Of course, I hope that includes the great friendship of all our SOC Friends!

The 'prayer bears' pulled off another one and so did he - outstanding news!

When I saw Charles' name appear on caller ID, I just looked up and said, "thank you, Lord!"  Had a good long chat and we hope to hook-up again at the next mini. [cool]

I sent Charles a text earlier last evening to let him know many of us were concerned for his health, but were pulling & praying hard for him to bounce back, like he has in the past.  Also, that we knew his mother depended on him and what a blessing it would be to start off the new year with him landing on his feet again soon.

So, as we continue our prayers for him and others in need, Kathy & I wish you all a very Happy New Year, 2019! [cool]

Wanted to wish all my SOC family a safe and Happy New Year!  Going to try to stay up to see the fireworks going off of Reunion Tower .  .  .  maybe!

I just finished talking with Charles.  He's been undergoing tests all day and was worn out.  He said his Dr. is "On call" tomorrow and should be able to give him the results of the tests. He is anxiously awaiting the results regarding his heart and kidney.  He said Vernon M & his wife were there at the hospital (Joanne was also having tests) and they came up to his room to see him before they headed back home.  Please keep Charles in your prayers!  Happy New Year SOC '66 Friends!

Will keep Charles and his family in our prayers. Our family is living proof that prayer brings peace and comfort in hard times.
