Wish we could come see everyone at the mini but will be landing in Barcelona on the 13th. We are going on a European cruise that we had put off due to my brother-in-laws chemo. Have fun, and, hopefully will see you next time.

We've lost two classmates in less than 6 months, don't miss the opportunity to see someone . . . you may not get another chance. Place: Richardson Comments: Paul, my heart and my prayers go out to you. I promise at least once every day I will ask God to guide & help you thru this terrible ordeal. I just saw a news story on TV 2 days ago about Drs doing exactly what you described. they use the patient's own cells, cleaned up and cancer free, to fight the cancer and kill it. Wow, we've come a long way baby! Speaking of the Mini - - - I tried this week to confirm we could use the Holiday Inn & today I was told Yes, but with a condition. We have to guarantee them xx amount of dollars in liquor and food. SAY WHAT?? I said no thanks, we'll go somewhere else. I then called the Hyatt & they are happy to have us back again. No minimum required, they'll open the bar at 2:00 for us. I've posted the info on the Event pg, but here it is: Everyone is invited to join us for a Spring Mini! It will be Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 2:00 to 6:00pm at the Hyatt Hotel on the NE corner of Campbell Rd & Hwy.75. We've been there many times before. And yes, at 6:00pm some of us interested in dinner will go N. up the access road about a mile or so and have dinner at El Fenix. I'll take a headcount about 5:30ish to see who's going.
Place: Edmond OK Comments: Sam....groan. Sandy, am in cycle 5 of 7 cycles of chemo. If after cycle 7 my cancer cells are reduced to 10% or below, they will prepare me for a stem cell transplant. It will be AFTER the mini. Then the fun begins. I have my own stem cells extracted (100 million of them) and then my immune system gets totally zeroed out with super strong chemo (oh boy). My stem cells also get blasted to destroy all cancer cells and then I get them back. I am then in quarantine for 2 weeks, take two months of limited circulation while my immune system rebuilds and then four months after that I get all the shots we got as children because my immune system is like a newborn. And then...hopefully I celebrate remission at our Fall mini!!! Please keep the prayers coming. They work!

Place: Sunny & Wind in Richardson Comments: Yes Paul - - - That's me, smiling all the way!!! Today marks a BIG milestone. 1) He's finally getting to go to cardiac Rehab and 2) He can now drive! Things are good & will improve each day Thank you all for the support and the many prayers along the way. Paul, I hope you are handing in there, as I know this road is long and hard. Where are you on the Chemo schedule? I'm praying you will be well enough to travel in April so we can see and visit with you. The same for Randy and many others. Now, I need to let you know that Eileen Sandefer has had a stroke. Judy Carpenter contacted me & said Eileen was up in the Dennison area to attend her G-dtrs baby shower, which is tomorrow, when she had her stroke. She's in Texoma Medical. Judy said Eileen is not able to speak. Judy is going up there this afternoon & going to stay with her tomorrow. She will give me an update after she sees Eileen & her dtr. Sound serious, Eileen needs our prayers!

Place: Sunny in Richardson Comments: Today we went to Cardiac Rehab Orientation. What an impressive facility! It's on the first floor of the Baylor Scott & White Heart Hospital where Don had his heart surgery. He starts rehab tomorrow. We're so excited as his Trigeminal episode set him back about 2 1/2 weeks. But it's finally here and things are looking good!
Place: North Richland Hills, TX Comments: They were. There was something on the 5:30 p.m. news about Facebook and Instagram. It's back up now though.
Place: Richardson Comments: I just tried again and nothing but a blank page. FB is definitely having trouble today.

Place: Richardson Comments: Susan, I've had trouble all day. I open FB and only two items come up. I tried twice to make a comment on one of your posts and each time I got an error. I finally gave up and went to the grocery store. I haven't tried again . I do believe FB was having problems today.
