Place: Sachse Comments: Thank you, Sandy, for the birthday wishes. Happy birthday, Sheryl. Haven't seen you in a while. Happy anniversary, Paul and Kathy! Everybody stay cool.
Place: Richardson Comments: Today, Monday, we have a double B-day. Happy B-day to Paul Scholte & Sheryl Bunyard! Sheryl is our friend from '67 but comes to so many of our gatherings. Hope you are having a good day and enjoying your B-day. We'd love to see you again at the Fall Mini!! Paul and Kathy celebrated their anniversary Saturday and today they celebrate Paul's B-day. I believe Paul is the youngest in our class. Due to growing up in a Military family he started school very early. I think he is only 75 today! Please correct me if I'm wrong Paul! Paul also made a career with the Military but, once retired, he found our group. Hope you are still "maintaining" and holding your own with your health. Happy B-Day to both Sheryl & Paul today, 8-12.
Place: Okc Comments: SNL, We are absolutely OVERWHELMED by your kind and meaningful words. You, my lady, are a class act. P&K
Place: Richardson Comments: I missed an important date yesterday(8-10) . . . it was Paul & Kathy Scholte's 51st wedding anniversary! This couple has been through a lot of adversity together with major health issues and the loss of close family. But they have, and continue, to fight their way through and are thankful for each new day. Happy Anniversary Paul and Kathy, may God grant you many more together.
Place: Richardson Comments: Wishing my longtime friends since 1st grade, Jack Hawkins a very happy b-day today! hope you are doing OK and today is a good one for you. Best Wishes always and for our friendship to continue for many years. Happy Birthday Jack!!
Place: Richardson Comments: Jack - Powderly, TX!!
Place: Sachse Comments: So Toni and Bruce moved, again?? Where are they now? Is Toni trying to find a place without Martins for Bruce to house? Anyway, Happy new home, Toni and Bruce!
Place: Richardson Comments: Thank you Tanya, I wasn't aware of her passing. Yes, she was teaching when we were there.
Place: Pottsboro, tx Comments: Sandy,I read on the 63 site that teacher Anne Bryant, passed away last year. Lynell placed the obit on the 63 site. I think she was still teaching when your class graduated.
Place: DeKalb Comments: Hay Toni, welcome to cowville, it’s a slower pace with fewer problems. I know you will adjust quickly, enjoy the ride. Oh by the way I am about 60 miles from you, stop in anytime.
Place: Richardson Comments: You got that right Toni. No more purse side pocket which was too big. I'm doing pretty good with the new pho considering it's totally a different make and type. I've got all the important icons on it and know how to use them, Text, Contacts, Phone calls, Email and Solitaire!
Place: Powderly, TX Comments: Sandy, thank you for the anniversary wishes! To be honest, we were so busy getting relocated that I totally forgot it was our anniversary! We did take time to stop unpacking and tried out a nearby restaurant near the Texas-Oklahoma border. I was skeptical at first but it was really good. We continue to get settled in as Bruce finishes up a new master closet! Living in the country is quite serene. I think I like it!! So very sorry to hear about Larry Thomas and J D Garoutte. Ann, I’m sorry I wasn’t able to make the luncheon. I saw the pictures and it looked as though everyone was well fed and enjoyed each other’s company. Sandy, here’s hoping you are able to keep up with your new phone!
Place: Richardson Comments: Thank you John, that was very nice of you to provide that link for those of us who missed it.
Place: The Woodlands, TX Comments: I only met JD Garoutte a couple of times at your "mini" events and he seemed like a man with a big personality. His funeral service was July 19th in Wisconsin and included military honors at the end. Below is a link posted from the live stream video of the service, for those of you who might want to view it.
Place: Richardson Comments: I finally decided on a new pho. Ordered it this morning. When I get it, activate it and figure out how to use it . . . I'll let you know I'm back in business!
