Place: Bill Harvey Cl of '65 Comments: Thank you Dane for posting info here. I read about Bill on FB from Deanna Dagley. I forgot to post here. Yes, he is in serious condition and needs lots of prayers. I know this is devastating for Charles M & Gary D as the 3 are best friends! Prayers for Bill Harvey & read info in post below from Dane for the full info.
Place: Plano Comments: For those of you who know Billy Harvey, class of 65, he had a heart attack while riding with a friend, Billy told his partner he needed to slow down, he wasn’t feeling well, before they could get the bikes stopped, Billy fell off, partner called 911, then started cpr. They were in Waxachie. Took him to Baylor Wax. Then transferred him to big Baylor. Once he got there, he was placed in an induced coma, was already in one,from the crash. The doctors are going to try to bring him out this pm. ICU .guess I didn’t make it clear, bicycling All I know, now

Place: Richardson Comments: I selected about 3 pm to get in front of the camera because some don't get there until late & others have to leave early. Everyone please be there by 2:30, preferably at 2:00, so we can all be in the memory photo! Thank you in advance for cooperating !!
Place: Allen Texas Comments: Don't any of you stay away from Saturday's mini, saying you don't want to get out in the rain because you're so sweet that you might melt. I saw "The Wizard of Oz," and I know for sure who will melt!!!!

Place: Richardson Comments: Yes, we may need to use an umbrella Sat. but it's always dry inside the bar. Well, . . . unless you count the drinks in our hands! Looking forward to see everyone Saturday. OK, I'm asking for a favor. I know this has been "difficult" before and Jack H. has even described it as herding cats! But at 3:00pm I want to get everyone, spouses & friends included, together for a photo. At the Hyatt they have a raised section with two steps up. I believe I can get everyone lined up on the upper section, then stair step them down to get a good shot of all who attended. I'll get the bar tender or someone in the bar to take the shot. I will share it with anyone who wants an original jpg of it. PLEASE do this for me!! Don't make me have to get mean with you to get you arranged for the photo! I still cherish the photo we took way back at our 60th b-day party. I think I'll post it later today on the old photo pg. Maybe seeing all the people missing from it will inspire you to help me get this photo taken Saturday!

Place: Allen, TX Comments: I am a little bummed out because my close friend since the 8th grade and fellow French horn player, Mario Fuentes, won't be at this upcoming mini. As many of you know, he lives part of the year at his home in Mexico and the other half here. He will still be in Mexico. Just not the same without Mario and Barbara at the mini. At most of our parties, Mario, Barbara and Sammy and Sarah Smith, and Connie and I hang out much of the time at the minis. Mario (or Moe, as we used to call him in the band) promised to be at the next mini. After all of the sickness and deaths recently, I plan to see and spend a little time with as many of our classmates as possible at this coming mini. I want to appreciate and show love to as many people as I can this time. We are a good group of fine people. And, I want to enjoy everyone there, whether I knew them in school or not. Lets all make wonderful memories.

Place: Richardson Comments: Clever Paul, it only took me 20 minutes to decode & figure it out. I'm slow to catch on. A thunderstorm went thru here a bit ago with lots of heavy rain, thunder & lightning but at least No Hail! We need the rain, but no hail please! Looking forward to next Saturday. Going to be fun! |
