Place: Edmond OK Comments: Thank you so much, Don, and Happy Anniversary Jake and Susan.
Place: LV, TX Comments: H a p p y 30th A n n i v e r s a r y to Jake & Susan Sunde, married today, April 22, 1989. Notes say: “We got married at my brother's house in Grapevine. Everything went smooth as silk. Barbara and Donnie were there.”
Place: LV, TX Comments: Paul - You can count on both here - friends & continued prayers.
Place: Edmond OK Comments: Thanks, Sandy. Friends are especially important at moments like this.
Place: Richardson Comments: Paul - I know that is not what you or any of us wanted. I'm so sorry to learn of this set-back. But it's just that . . . a set-back. Prayers haven't stopped or slowed, they will continue. Love and faith being sent your way.
Place: Edmond OK Comments: Well, gang, not good news. Not only did my numbers not go down; they increased. So now it is on to a more potent chemo regimen to see if we can get back to the progress I was making before. I am still trusting God through this, but obviously this is not what I expected to hear.
Place: LV, TX Comments: Aaa-MEN!!!
Place: Edmond OK Comments: Sandy...Amen indeed!
Place: Richardson Comments: Was thinking of yo this morning Paul. Yes, here it is the most picture perfect Easter Sunday I've seen in a long time. the sunrise was beautiful & it was calm & still. No doubt God heard my prayers. Happy Easter to all and as we have begun to say here, "God Bless The Class Of '66". Amen!
Place: Edmond OK Comments: Happy and blessed Easter everyone. 🦋💐
Place: LV, TX Comments: I texted Charles this afternoon to see how he was doing and if OK to post his reply: "Your basic antibiotics and breathing treatments and rehab to build up my strength. As far as going home has not been determined yet but we are trying to maybe get out by next Friday. Will know more next week. You can post if you want. Thanks will give you a call next week. You and your family have a great Easter." I told him our prayers would continue in the meanwhile.
Place: Lago Vista, TX Comments: David Kyle - Hope your recovery from pneumonia is going well and you'll be able to bounce back soon. I'm also not on FB, but I've been in touch with David Hamm, who is, and he attends the El Fenix lunches regularly in Oak Cliff. They just lost one of their lunch guys from SOC '65, Bill Harvey (Pam Harvey's brother), during the last couple of weeks, but I'll try to find out when they're getting together again and post here. Plus, you can click the link in the above right corner to e-mail me directly, if you want.
Place: LV, TX Comments: Kathy & I also really enjoyed getting together with everyone at the mini last weekend very much, even though the rain tried its best to drown us out - no way, it was on! Plus, we finally got our El Fenix 'fix' afterward for dinner, eh Paul? Did they actually detect enchiladas in your test results?! Thank you for posting pix, Sandy - I'll e-mail some I took at dinner, if you want to add them. Paul - All kidding aside, I'm adding my prayers to those of others that your results will be favorable for moving ahead with the stem cell replacement procedure. Prayers also for Charles & Speedy, whom we expected might show up at the mini. We heard from David Kyle regarding Charles - we'll need to check-up on Speedy, plus we haven't heard anything about Alvin Rogers in a while.
Place: Edmond OK Comments: HAPPY HAPPY Birthday MISTER Fugate. Was great talking to you at the mini.
Place: LV, TX Comments: H a p p y B i r t h d a y wishes go out to Don Fugate today, April 20th! |
