Thanks for posting the photos, Sandy! Although our group was small this time, everyone seemed to have a really good time. 💛🤍💛

Well, I posted the photos from Saturday about 45 minutes after Toni reminded me I hadn't done it yet.  Then I forgot to post a note saying they were posted!  Uh, photos posted [rolleyes]

Had to establish a page 2 for Mini photos, the 1st page was full and couldn't expand it.

Very funny. No, but I was having such a good time visiting with friends I hadn't seen in a few years . . . I actually took very few pics.
They aren't the best pics but you're right, I need to post them. We only had 18 people and 9 of us went to dinner at El Fenix.

So sorry to hear of Sandra Hurley’s passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
Sandy, we’ve been waiting for pictures of the get together last Saturday. Did you forget your camera?

The previous post about Sandra Hurley passing had some issues when looked at with a cell.  I'm reposting her photo and the very brief obit that was given so it will be easier for everyone to see. We just found out of her passing on 4-26. Thank you.

Yes, unfortunately we keep loosing good friends and it's really hard. Charlotte Hilburn was good friends with Sandra Hurley and they kept in touch until a few years ago.

Charlotte said Sandra had dementia and slowly their communication got less and less until it stopped.  Charlotte had knee replacement surgery 3 weeks ago and was using the down time to look for info on old friends.  That's when she found the brief obit for Sandra Hurley.

Sorry you and Ramona can't make the Mini.  Wish Ramona Happy B-day for me and hope to see you next time.

Dear Friends;
I was so sad to hear of the passing of our friend, Sandra Hurley.  I remember her as a mere waif, small in stature and huge in personality and heart.  The picture in her obituary shows the smile she always had on her face.  If anyone knows the why or how of her passing, please let us know.

I may not be able to attend this reunion, but I shall try.  My favorite persons birthday is May 4, and it will be a milestone for my wife, Ramona.  We have God to thank for our health, and yes, we have our trials and tribulations, just like all of you, but we'll get through them.  Life is good right now.  I  wish and pray for the best for all of you that I love.  Please try to make this reunion if you can.  As of now, we have 23% of our class confirmed who have passed, with probably another 10% or higher who are missing and we'll never know the details of where, when, or how.  God bless.

Wanted to let the class know we have been made aware of another classmates passing. Sandra Kay Hurley Vines passed on July 18, 2022. Charlotte Hilburn gave me the info a few days ago. There wasn't much of an obit, just a few sentences, I put the link here but it kept causing problems. I have reposted the info & photo as of 5-7 so it will be easier for everyone to see without a link.  Thank you Charlotte!

Hello to all and hope everyone is doing well
We have our Anniversary (52) that weekend and will not be able to make the Mini.
Also, Larry we can identify with you on the Grands. Our first Grandaughter Remi was 2 years old on Feb 9 of this year and she has a little sister due August 28th.
Talked to Charlie Moss last week and he is making progress but has a ways to go. He has gone through a good bit and is still very positive. He Loves to have phone calls.
Y'all have a great time and hope to make the Fall one.

Congratulations Larry on having two G-kids!  And because they are barely 4 months apart they will grow up being great cousin friends and playmates.  Looking forward to seeing you at the Mini.

I hope to attend the mini this May. Look forward to seeing all.
Thinking of Charles and hope he is doing better.  Charles used to live a few houses down from me when I was at SOC.

On the bright side, on April 6 at 1.23 in morning my sons wife had a Baby boy: my first grandson, to go with with my granddaughter who was born 12/26/23.

Shortcake, I forgot, you're going to be cruising the high seas on May 4th.  When you cross into May 5th, have a margarita and celebrate Cinco de Mayo!  Have fun!

As of 1:00 today we became home owners in McKinney.  With Bobby’s macular degeneration he has problems driving and especially does not drive at night.  So we are selling the casita and coach and moving back to all of this horrible traffic.  A traffic jam in Kerrville was four cars and would prompt us to call and tell whoever we were meeting we would be late.  So anyway - here we are.
