Yes, we all need to thank Richard Carter for his generosity of buying everyone their first drink! it was appreciated and started the party off nicely. We also did a toast to all those we have lost and all the good memories they gave us.

If you missed the Fall Mini we had Saturday, you missed a good time! I posted some pics on the "Our Photos" tab under " Mini Get-Togethers Pg 2" for the Saturday pics. We actually filled the entire pg 1 and I had to establish a pg 2.

We had 23 attend and 13 of us went to dinner. Thank you to Kathy & Fred Nickols who drove from Paradise, Jimmie & Karen Hughes who drove from Meridian, Vernon & Joann Moreland from Italy, Carol Carpenter from Kansas City & Darlene Moree from Athenes. We loved seeing you and appreciate you coming!!

Well darn Rickypoo, sorry about the foot surgery. Crutches and only one good foot can be dangerous and very inconvenient.

I severely sprained my left ankle & foot Aug 20th and I'm still walking cautiously and can't stand or walk on it for long periods of time or it begins to hurt/swell.

Take it easy and I hope it heals quickly and your back walking much better soon! Will miss seeing you tomorrow!

Sandy, I had planned to come to the meeting on Saturday, but I had foot surgery a week ago and have discovered that it’s not that easy to get around on crutches and this little three wheel knee rover so I’m going to not be there at the meeting as much as I would really love to.

Will definitely miss you and Mike! I certainly understand about doctor appointments cropping up at the most inopportune time. But, we have to take care of our eyes and other health issues first. Hope everything goes well this afternoon and by end of weekend you your eye feels better and your are "seeing" much better.

Wishing we could be there this time but can’t make it. Precious medical appointment prevents us this time. I was really looking forward to “seeing” everyone since I just completed successfull cataract surgery and I can see again! Very happy about that. Have fun and take lots of pictures.

We are settled into our new house in McKinney. I have all of my 85 tubs unpacked except for Christmas, and it will happen the day after Thanksgiving. We even managed to talk Toni & Bruce into taking a lot of empty tubs! I made a chocolate pie for them when they picked them up. They showed up with cheesecake with strawberry topping so we sent the pie home with them. We have finally gotten all of our furniture bought and delivered. Final item - wine cooler. Bobby does not drink wine so that was not of immediate importance to him. Sad note- we sold his truck. Because of the MD he cannot drive so we not have just one vehicle. Really sad watching it drive away. We have settled into a routine now-home depot, Lowe’s and harbor freight in the morning. I am thinking they are going to get me my own parking spot. Oh well, see you the 19th.
