Alvin out thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Ron, happy birthday!

JD if you and your team are already looking at meeting the Pats in AZ, the Giants will kick your ***. And what's this junk about BF not yelling?? He yells at his teammates. He yells (whines)at the Refs after EVERY play he is on the field!
I don't know about Brady, but Troy never hid his feelings from his teammates.

Richard, the emails I sent you are coming back. Do you have a new address??

Folks – More on those of us getting another year older this month.  Let’s all wish H a p p y  B i t h d a y !!! to Ron Barker today.

Ron, it was good seeing you in D. C. this past year, during the ‘In Memory’ day program at The Wall & getting together for lunch.  Also, thanks for the e-mails on what’s happening in the wild world of military & civil aviation.

Best wishes & many happy returns!

Alvin – Along with our other SOC classmates, I offer my prayers & deepest condolences to you & your family on the passing of your wife, Linda.

In the days ahead, I trust that you will have many fond memories of her to ease your sadness, as well as the comfort in knowing that she no longer shares any of our earthly pains.

Barring any unforeseen obstacles, I plan to join you & your guests for Linda’s funeral on Friday & will contact you directly to confirm the directions & other info I’ve gathered.  – Don

Smiley's right about one thing; even in the Land of Strange, Venice is in its own element.  Although, I noticed on the news this morning that you Texans are reporting flying saucers running amok.  Haven't heard that for quite a while.

Alvin I am from Groesbeck were my Grandfathers Grandfather and all between are at rest in Capps Cemetery on Capps Cemetery Rd. in Groesbeck. It is one of the older settlements in Texas rich in history. Home of Fort Parker named after Chief Quanta Parker (Cherokee) was established after " The Trail of Tears ". A beautiful city a long the Navasoto River. Linda will be in good hands.

Rick, Be careful which beach you chose. Long Beach and Malibu are good but on our last trip West we went to Venice beach. I have never seen such an accumulation of weird sights. They have a place where the weight lifters congregate. As Von and I walked by one "show-off" lifted two girls up and placed one on each shoulder and was walking around. I said just the opposite of what I usually say at the beach : " Look at the chicks on that boob !!" Just be careful. It's a different world from Marsalis and Overton.

Streaker Rick W., if you go west young man and find a beach, wear the white and gold streamers. If you hook up with Richard Nance, I know the two of you will make us proud. Eye candy for the ladies.
