Comments: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Mike McDow.
Comments: Yes, the sun came up this morning (about an hr after I got to work) & I'm reading only the news articles today - nothing about sports or politics. ![]() 'MacGregor', our new 1-yr old pup, & I re-bonded with a short walk before bedtime last night. He must've thought I was upset with him. I assured him I wasn't & to not worry about that again for at least another yr. ![]() JD - Per our tele-chat last night, pls remember to have some pix taken of your new Xmas t-shirt. Anytime between kaboom-ads, 'G' ballcap orders or otherwise collecting on sports debts will be fine. Sandy would probably say you may be unable to get your head thru the neck hole for at least a week, but that's OK. I'll let you guess which Sandy. ![]() Thanks for the call, my friend!
Comments: Happy Birthday Mike McDow -- hope that you have a great day. Karen MG - I agree with you. The Cowboys losing was a team effort. Dale Hansen on channel 8 likes our Tony Romo -- thinks he is a good guy. What about NY winning -- they just outplayed the Cowboys.
Comments: streaker! I was on the phone, both phones and posting at the same time. ![]() ![]()
Comments: RW, it's about time you covered your end zones. You stricker, you ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
Comments: I can't post much this week, I'll be in class, They're trying to teach me something.
Comments: JD, it looks to me like Jacob is trying to remove the GB hat before any body sees him in it. Any way good luck in the play offs JD, and good luck to you too Jada. Now I have my bases covered. Oh sorry thats baseball, I meant to say, now I have my end zones covered.
Comments: Happy Birthday Mike Hope you have a great one and many more to come.![]()
Comments: Happy B-day Mr. McDow. You're a lucky man to have a wonderful wife like Sue. Had to work yesterday so had to listen to the game on the radio except for when I was interrupted by CUSTOMERS! (Sheesh, they have some nerve coming out when a game is on!) Watched the playbacks too and would have to say that Cheezehead is incorrect on both assessments. First, that Romo lost the game, it was definitely a "team" effort with poor protection from the offensive line, poor special teams effort and lackluster defense to name a few. Add to that an outstanding day in most every area for NY and that was bitter icing on the cake for Dallas. Also, there isn't a sportscaster out there who has ever said anything about Romo not being humble. To the contrary, he is one of the most humble QBs out there and never talks trash about the opposing team. So don't jump on our young, resiliant QB, JD. No body here trashes Brett, even if he CAN'T win in Dallas. Enjoy your win but don't get too overconfident about the Pats or even NY for that matter.
Comments: I vow never to attend another Cowboys/Giants game again...each time we go the Boys lose. I think they had too much queso and chips at half-time! Did the white-out look as good on tv as it did in person? There must have been at least six Giant fans at the game! Oh well, there's always next year. JD, GB has their work cut out for them with the Pats. Don't get too overly confident just yet. Who'd have thoughts the Colts would have lost to SD?? I know my family in SD were sure they were going to take a beating from the Colts! Surprise, surprise!
Comments: Linda, Gary Hogeboom played 11 yrs in the NFL. 6 yrs w/Dallas, 3 yrs w/Colts, 1 yr w/AZ & 1 w/Wash. He had great potential that never materialized. Romo has had more success in his 1 yr and 5 games than poor Gary in his 11 yrs.
Comments: JD - Will you explain the comment about Mr. Hogeboom and what team did he QB? Some of us (me) don't know the scoop on some of yesteryear's players. Are you passing out cheezeheads? I do like Brett Favre. The sportscasters keep saying he is 38 and "old" for a QB (maybe so). I wouldn't mind trading ages with him. 38 was a pretty good year for me.
Comments: J.D., the poster went in the trash can, as did the Cowboys season. The teams that play well in December, do well in the playoffs. Cowboys did not deserve to win. I hope the Old Man from Miss. can win another ring.
Comments: Mike ( 3 Point) McDow, Happy Birthday, still have fond memories of basketball at T.L. Marsalis. We rebound, pass to you, you bounce pass to Chris Paul and he shoots. You had a pure shot, when you had the opportunity.
Comments: JD - Good, as you're starting to repeat yourself!! And you still don't get it . . . our address is Dallas and/or Texas and believe it or not - - We don't like Green Bay! |
