Comments: Faux Pas, correction - Got a bit ahead of myself on the special celebration notes. Janet's b'day falls on the 11th, but the Fugate's anniversary is the 12th. So, I should've held off til today for that one, but guess I got on a roll & wound up having a senior blonde moment. I don't know what happened to Jack. We really missed him and Glynda being able to join us. If he didn't pick up the tickets I will ask for a refund on Monday.
Comments: ...just got back.....our plane trip back went by way of Houston so that meant an over-nighter!! The birthday lunch at NM was really great...thanks again, Karen! BTW - thanks JD...you shouldn't have but we did really enjoy the dessert, and it carried well on the plane...I can vouch for that....and so can Shortcake!! Sandy Mc/Linda....Karen had the cookies all the time...another story for another time!! I really enjoyed you all joining us and I hope the bug in the muffin won't discourage you from returning to NM!! Happy belated birthday to Janet and happy belated anniversary to Don and Barb! Hope all the celebrations were great! Now I have to unpack my bags and repack for that trip to the Cowboys game tomorrow....see ya!
Comments: Gosh Happy Jack - you really did miss a good time with Barb and Don! Linda, Toni, Sandy Mc and I met them and then flew back in to Dallas on Friday and had lunch at NM. We all had a great time with them. I guess you must of just missed your flight out!
Comments: Well Happy Jack, Don't know where you went wrong...I went to Chicago O'Hare on Thursday, asked for my ticket to NM and am sitting here with Barb and Don drinking, laughing, and getting ready to watch the Packers win today...I will admit, however, it cost me a couple of bottles of wine, a Cheese Head like Mr. McGoo's and dinner....but I have fallen in love with New Mexico. Never been here but these two love birds have shown me a good time. Am leaving tomorrow so I hope I miss the Cowboy game as I don't want to hurt anyone chances of getting on the Packer Band Wagon. Barb & Don, thanks for the memories...and am pleased that you offered me the opportunity to say Happy 40th Anniversary in person.

Comments: We really did have a great time at NM today at lunch. Spent close to 3 hours eating and laughing. Of course, after Toni ended up getting extra cookies out of them we probably will not be allowed back in there. I think I will just let you wonder about that story.
Comments: HB Janet! Happy 40th Don and Barbara. Went to both airports for tickets to join you in celebrating. Both places said they weren't holding any tickets in my name. This is some kind of mistake. I am sure I heard you say you wanted us to come out and join you. The bar was kinda noisy. It is too late now, be sure you get your money back for the tickets. Poor Sam, I understand that getting out of those places is real hard. Glynda has some kind of filter on our home computer. Can I visit you??

Comments: Ms. Sandra, weather has been good, several jobs under construction. I've have a few to start, and am doing outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, etc. Will be a tough year, recession, competition, and people don't want to pay for quality workmanship. |
