Place: Richardson Comments: Good news regarding Gordy! Just finished speaking with him. He's going home tomorrow! Not really walking well enough but rehab trying to get as many people as possible out and home. They've already arranged for a Home Health Care and a PT person to come out M, W & F next week. His surgery was Jan 23 and he hasn't been home since, so he's more than ready!!

Place: Calif. Comments: Jack, my trip was never business related. Just happens I have my first date (see previous posts) that week; right now I don't intend to break it. However, I was thinking about my last date(s) back in the 70's. Back then I showed up slathered in English Leather. Now I'll be reeking of Purell. That'll leave an interesting first impression.

Place: LV, TX Comments: Well, I do hope this 'bug' responds as some have predicted, with seasonal warm temps causing it to fade. But, we're watching Bluebonnets and other wildflowers sprout-up as Spring arrives and have to wonder, why would germs behave differently? Guess we'll see. Meanwhile, Kathy forwarded me a snapshot of sick poster someone posted on FB - probably from Kimball, Adamson or Sunset. It reads: "If you ever went swimming in the Trinity River, you're immune to the Corona virus." Probably should've included a footnote: *And still alive to read this! P. S. - With the mini postponed, Paul's gonna need a double order of enchiladas, salsa & chips from somewhere near the future site of the next one - just sayin!

Okie dokie, I'm staying at the Hilton Lincoln Center (LBJ at Dallas tollway...I think). March 26-30. All kidding aside, come on over and we'll have that scotch.
Place: Sachse Comments: Sorry to disagree with you Paul. Those cancelling are doing it because their lawyers advise so. In this law suit happy country we live in, anyone who got "sick" would sue and that would grow to those who were "exposed" too. Millions would be spent in courts. This is just another "flu bug". Same as SARS or west nile or bird flu. Every year the flu strain kills hundreds, but it not reported. Stay calm and wash your hands. Richard, if you decide to come, I would be honored to share a bar with you. I'll buy the first round!
Place: Calif. Comments: Well, Paul, let's see. First date in 45 years? That and maybe I'll just meet Jack Hawkins at the Lincoln Center bar and toast to our good health. Well......toast anyway.

Place: Edmond Comments: Sandy, A very wise move. The stock market does not set a time-record nosedive and the greedy sports world does not delay/forego profit unless this is more serious than we are being told. Tourist-driven economies around the world do not shut out tourist dollars on a hunch. Notice how every so many days a new, more serious assessment is released. Example: First we are told COVID-19 is less serious than the flu. Then we are later told, it is MUCH more deadly than the flu. Can’t have it both ways. I believe this is more serious than is being publicized. Just my thoughts.
