Comments: Don't forget today's big sporting event on ESPN ... Men's Figure Skating - live from Torino, Italy. 4:30pm to 7:30pm.
Comments: I'v still got about 200 LP's. I think there are 3 Jackie Wilson ( At the Copa, So Much and Baby Workout) I agree he was good but never compared to the Mystics. I'v told this before but I completely beat the dash board out of Wilbur Wilhite's 64 Chevy convertible listening to "Didn't We Have A Good Time Baby" ! Thanks!
Comments: Wish I could be a bee on the cart.
Comments: Buddy, Sounds like great fun. I used to "hunt " down 5-mile creek for about 3-4 hours then "hunt" back home. Had either a single shot 22 or a .410 single shot shot gun. Thought I was on safari. May have killed a squirrel once. Sara beats Boude hands down. And we won't even mention Oliver or Atwell ! Looking forward to the golf results from the SOC 4-some.

Kidding Dale Dale on Lancaster south of 12 my uncle had some land. He had two girls so I was a son to him. Walked many miles coon hunting listening to the dogs sing. When Papa (gdad )would bring his red bone coon dogs down now that was a special treat to hear two packs singing. They thought they hit cat chasing heaven trying to out do one another. Sometimes 2 coons treed at the same time. No coons were safe. Dad would always worry my uncle had one eye do to ww11 that he mite shot me and been known to tip a few brews

Comments: Geeze...it's still Saturday...all be it late...and there has been 4 pages added since my early post this morning...Since I didn't have access to a car...part of why I really didn't date much...I don't remember the streets you guys named...I gotta go back and see if I can remember...I'm so old I remember Marsalis, Kiest, Ledbetter, Sunnyvale, Bonnieview, Overton Road...Marfa, E, but man...I'm lost in Oak Cliff and can't find my way around. Red Bird Lane I remember...I-35. But then again, when you guys were running around in your cars I was working on the farm cutting, raking and bailing the Alfalfa. But then again, I've been gone so long I can hardly remember the Loop 12 Drive-In and I lived right next door. My last comment is...this is the busiest Sat I've ever seen.
Comments: Sandy McM u put a tear in my eye on the peeker word. yes on the Mcs and give Leon a big high five for me I remember Leon for about only 12 years. Myra is married to Jon Lewis 67 SOC, Myra what a sweet girl. Trudy had some older brothers i think they look after their little sister I would get the eye look. Sammy Maddax(66kimball running buddy at Story) and I had a few dates with some Tigers when at Story. Sandy when u spread those wings tonite wear pants around McGee's and keep a little more distance from McKee
Comments: Buddy, Trudy and I were good friends in grade school and Jr. high. In '65 we moved off Polk and Red Bird Lane and Trudy lived a few streets over. I got a transfer back to SOC at the end of my junior year. Myra Wheat was my neighbor and she also got a transfer. I had just made Lt. and she just made Debs. I regret no keeping up with Myra. If you were talking about me and the "Mc's" I didn't know Ronney and I'm sorry I didn't but Sandy is another story. My sister worked at Bakers Shoe Store. I worked at Colbert Volks in the Kiest Lancaster Shopping Center. One day I was in Bakers and the manager ask me if I knew a "nice" young man that would work. You guessed it, I suggested the "peeker". We were close our senior year. Dated Sandy, Logan and Hudsbeth To bad Hudsbeth isn't playing golf with ya'll next week . They called themselves, "we three" or the "three musketeers". I think there must have been some kind of bet going on. My Aunt and Uncle Georgia and Leon Durham would go and watch you play at Storey.and SOC. I don't know if you would remember them or not. I'm sure my uncle talked to you. He was a big man 6'4'. Their son was your age, Leon Durham Jr. Played ball probably "B" team, he was very short didn't grow till after he graduated. Now he's 6' 1' and buff.

Comments: Deb I remember playing the Zoo guys in football are lack of it on their part. 1962 full house when all said and done I guess McGee and company had too many cokes at the Crest friday and stayed up too late or maybe it was the flash light glare that keep them out of the end zone all nite long After 3Qers of playing sat the bench yawning in the 4th. Deb need I say more Deb let um talk the talk Storities walk the walk Crazy Lady don't get me going on the Homies |
