Comments: Sandy McM...Linda P.....where does our trek down memory lane begin? We'd better touch base before Friday. I'll bring my camera...it won't be as fancy as Shortcake's but it does a good job. I'll take pictures if one of you can drive. I can't get all of us into my G35 unless one of you wants to stand up through the sun roof from the micro mini backseat! ![]() ![]() ![]() If anyone would like us to drive by your old house, please give us your address. Ada, what was yours again?
Comments: So, I'm back in Dallas, still in class , Too much to read to catch up, Guess I missed a lot. Maybe I can catch in March when I'm finished with school.
Comments: You're welcome Toni. I think it's a great thing when many of us from our class send cards, notes/letters to people within our class & those we knew from other classes. It means so much to get a personal note from someone who knew you or your loved one. If I can get the address of those from other classes I will be happy to pass it on. Sometimes it's not available. Ya'll are a very caring group & I'm proud to be a part of it!!
Comments: Buddy, it's really hard to lose such a close friend. We all share your grief. We'd love to read some of your memories of your friendship. Mickey O'Riley was a friend to everyone he met. Sandy, thanks for sharing the address.
Comments: Jack, I think none of the above pretty much sums it up....we are going to be royally screwed in Nov.
Comments: I'm sorry to read about Mickey O. I knew him briefly as we played guitars together for some reason..can't remember why. I just remember him being a good guy to talk with.
Comments: Jack, Glad you enjoyed the story. I was a Biology major, Chemistry minor at ACC. Sorry to hear the bad news about Micky. He was a really neat guy.
Comments: Dale; Saw your post on Southworth's site. What was your major that had you taking comparative anatomy? Or did you take it as an elective? Got your CD. Take a wrap. Funny story. Thanks! With what has happened this year, I think it is time that the country changes the primary system. It does not make any sense that a few states get to narrow down the field the rest of us have to choose from. The people that I were considering vote for are no longer available. The choices we have now make me wish for a "None of the above; do over" lever.
Comments: Jimmy and Sandy, your grand children are precious. I know you have so much fun with them.
Comments: Sorry to hear of Mickey's passing. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
Comments: Here's Mickey O'Riley's family address: 1916 Oak Forest Dr., Round Rock, TX 78681. For you guys who knew & love him I bet his wife, Charlotte, & his son & dtr would love to hear from you.
Comments: Buddy, I beleive I can get you connected to Doug Hutt. I'll contact his sis, Diane, & get you a contact #. I'll try to reach her tonight.
Comments: Sandy Lynn, as we receive news of the passing of people we know, would it be proper to give the family address to send a card? Family members might want to know what they were like in high school. Friendships, comments, stories, anything to let them know we were proud to have known them. Just a thought, anyone else agree?
Comments: J.D. call Don L., he has the info. He got me a pencil etching, and I've put in a special place, I can't locate it this am. Mickey was a very likeable guy, great football player. And he must be a Saint to have lived with Buddy Capps. If you get an address, would like to send a card to his family. |
