Comments: Doctor Dave, that part of Oak Cliff is OK , at least during the day. After the sun goes down you may hear a gun shot or two, but that's how some celebrate. Gloria's is still open. Bishop Grill closed, that's where Hunky's is. The Belmont has a good restaurant, right off of Ft. Worth Ave. There's Cafe Madrid, two Italian restaurants, one at Davis/Bishop, the other down the street from Hattie's. A Tia restaurant and Grill 400. I don't think I will get lost. I am pretty good with directions. And I can duck the bullets. You guys have no idea of the people I have had to deal with being in the hotel business for so long. Once a robber walked in the hotel pulled a gun, I was in my office which, was glassed in, in the lobby. I told the guy we had no money or any jewelry. Thanks goodness he left, I immediately called 911 and ran after the would be robber...keep a eye on him and the police caught him.

Comments: Jack, Tupinamba's has moved Three times. First to north west Hwy, then to Midway and 635. And now is on Inwood just north of Forest Lane. They may have moved again, haven't been by there lately. For thoses going back to Oak Cliff, don't be a scared I have a sales territory there and go twice a month, and my parents still live off of Edgefield and Charles Moss's mon lives in Oak Cliff too. Have fun. Just don't drink the water. Is that the name of a song Dale? Ready to play?

Comments: Jack u are right on the politial scene. Political Mass Destruction. I was looking for another B Move man in the White House but that faded away. Jack need a good berger Joint around Stevens Golf Course say something the Peeker and muscle man Browning can afford. u always know the good joints JD wife is tight with my money last set of golf clubs 1990 and said no new one till I wore em out (how do u ware golf clubs out ? with a grinder) I would like to see the wall and give thanks to so many friends on it as wife finish teaching school in June. Linda still wants to go, so she may catch up with us right after lunch. I think she'll know more after her meeting tonight. I want us to take lots of pictures. I'll bring my pepper spray.  |
Some areas are not as threatening as others. I'm not sure but if someone has a Hummer we could borrow, I'd feel a lot better. Bruce and I drove through Cedar Crest last year in my car and lived to tell about it. If we don't report back to the GB by Saturday AM, send out reinforcements!
