Comments: Hi, Eileen! Happy B'Day
Comments: happy belated birthday to Eileen...hope it was a good one...you deserve it! I got your call but couldn't get the right call back # on my cell phone. I think Eileen lived on Calcutta. Sue, if you read this, I got your call this morning...sorry to have missed you but I was in front of the tv watching the oscars!
Comments: Eileen -- Happy Birthday and many more. It's a beautiful day to celebrate. Sandy McGee -- I am a D.A.R. and have been to 1 meeting and 1 luncheon. They are a philantrophic group who goes to cemetaries, libraries, museums, etc. to gather information to preserve our heritage. They give money for scholarships and to winners of contests who do a project for the D.A.R. They do try and promote interest in the organization. My patriot was a Thomas Nance from Virginia. You are right about most of the members being OLD. On a positive note about D.A.R., the women that I was in contact with are patriotic and serious about keeping accurate records regarding our heritage for generations to come. Sandy McGee -- Do you know of a children's dentist in McKinney/and or an oral surgeon that's good?
Comments: I seem to think that it was either Woodacre Dr and or Calcutta Dr...but believe it is one of the two...
Comments: Darned if I remember, but I bet Paperboy McGee knows!!! Sandy Joe . . . .???
Comments: Memo To Sandy Joe McG: Today's Quiz - What street was home to Eileen's front porch?
Comments: I t/w Pat Williams Weatherwax late last night. She has spent (and will continue to spend) a lot of time at the hospital. They are in the process of making arrangements to move Christie to the Baylor Rehab Center by end of week. She assured me that Christie's kids will let us know just as soon as Christie's doctors feel it's OK for her to have visitors & when Christie wants to have visitors! The surgery this morning is considered relatively simply to put in a permanent drain.
Comments: Happy Birthday, Eileen, hope it was a good one. Have little sister post and let us know how you are doing.
Comments: Happy Birthday Eileen Sandifer, still remember tossing the Dallas News on your front porch. Ms. Sandra McM, don't remember the guy, I was too busy keeping Bovie (Peeker) out of trouble. Buddy C., played Del Webb's course today in Frisco with Jack Miller (Sunset 66') he ask if you were still big. I said of course, but cute in shorts.
Comments: Memo to JS: The Oscar nomination was a well-kept secret til now. Actually, Hannibal has such an 'unusual' appetite that even Cajuns don't try to copy his recipes - they're not much into human sushi, I guess.
Comments: HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLFRIEND EILEEN, HOPE IT'S A HAPPY ONE AND MANY, MANY MORE. LOVE YA DEB
Comments: Happy Birthday Eileen . . . in case you're lurking on the GB!!! It was a beautiful day today, hope your Birthday was too!!
Comments: It is with great sadness that we announce the cancellation of the 8th Annual SOCademy Awards. That ongoing strike has had far-reaching implications. Last year Don Lincoln won an Oscar for "Largest Collection of Hannibal Lectner Cajun Cooking Recipes". And Richard Nance was a runaway winner in the category of "Most Likely to swap his casting couch for a La-Z-Boy recliner". details at: http://people.consolidated.net/swsw/blogger.htm
