Oh, sorry for the misspell ... that should have been "doog pop".

Sometimes I put a burning bag of doog poop on my own front porch - just for the heck of it.

Somebody(ies) did the brown paper bag trick at our house in Oak Cliff on Halloween and my poor daddy found it and tried to put out by stomping the daylights out of it!!!!!  That's the first and last time I ever heard my daddy say a few "bad words". Just ask my cuz, she knows how quite Uncle Willie was Right cuz?  Great news about Christie and hope she continues the great improvement. God Bless my SOC family, Love yall all. DEB

Toni-the family hasn't posted anything since she got out of surgery yesterday.  I'm sure they are busy making arrangements for the move from ICU to Baylor Rehab.  Lots of paperwork & big decisions to be made.  Hopefully they'll make a post tomorrow.

Deb, you'll certainly have our support & prayers!!  Hang in there girl, things will get better.  You'll feel so much better after the procedure you'll be ready to dance!

BLB, good to see you post again.  You, your family and friends are also in my prayers.
Jack, next time I'm around you I will be keeping an eye on you.

Ah, the ol' burning bag trick.  Charles Terry taught me that one.  Jack, Dennis opened a place called "Dino's" on Greenville in the 80's.  A bit ahead of the times, and the wrong partner. He's been with Chips for quite a long time...10 plus years, maybe over 15. You may be right about Humperdinks, but I don't recall that one.

The book I wrote was a record-score-keeping informational book designed for bicycle racing...who knew?  Very important for racers but rather dull and boring for the average couch potato....you see my younger son was a bicycle racer in many venues...novice, expert and pro....Texas Chain Gang, Team Robinson and Southwest Texas State!  Ronney, I think a better title might be  "How I Scared the Daylights Out of My Classmate With My Pet Snake and Lived to Tell About It"

Any more news on Christie....Sandy?....anyone?

DMC, of course you can count on our prayers...this group seems to be good at that.  Getting old isn't so bad when you consider the alternative!  Hang in there, girlfriend!

OK Don L, fess up. Who was your co-conspirator in this dastardly (and thoroughly unoriginal, I might add) deed? I think it was my brother who opened the door first and then I looked too. Fortunately, the bag was not well lit and sort of self-extinguished as we peered at it and then into the darkness where the giggling of pre-pubescent boys was heard in the distance. No one stomped on the bag. Even at maybe 11 years old, I was not dumb enough to fall for that. Hey, what did I ever do to you anyway?

Debbie, I have no doubt that everyone, including me, will be praying for a good result from the procedure being done next week. Stay positive as we all will. Make sure Alan or the boys keep us informed. Love you bunches.

Pool Guy - That's a pretty creative way of telling that old guy, "Strong message to follow".  But I'd be glad to make up your $1.95 loss to see his face after unfolding that paper.

A former CG buddy put a 'flaming sack-o-doo' on KMG's front porch one Halloween night, early 60's, then rang the door bell & ran like hell to hide in the bushes across the street.

I forget who came to the door & stomped out the fire, only to discover its contents.  We could've been caught that night, because we were laughing so hard we couldn't run away fast enough.

Hey to everyone- It's great news about Sandy and hope and pray that she will contine with great recovery.
BLB, the same goes with you and your loved ones for healing and strength; with GOD"S help, I'm sure yall will.
Could I please be selfish and ask for extra prayers from my SOC family? I had a "chemical stress test" last Fri. and the cardiologist just called and said she wasn't happy with the results (didn't answer me when I asked why); anyway not to take any chances of blockage or any wanting to start- I am scheduled for outpatient Heart Cartherization (spelling?) next Mon. morning. Have to be there at 5:30AM and will have it done at 7:00AM and know the results while in recovery and then wait awhile and go home to TLC. Anit't it great getting old? I guess I inheirted my daddy's "conjestive heart failure", hope not!!!
The only thing that makes me mad is that my brother-in-law is an alcholic, drugs at times, smokes like a chimmney, and washes his meds down with alchol and his stress test comes back "A OK'!!! Go figure, maybe that's what I need to start doing?   DEB
BLB, did you know Eloise McKamie, Wayne's sister-in-law? She was 92 and lived in Kileen nursing home. Well, my aunt (mom's siter in Waco) sent her a clipping that she had died last Sat.
