Place: The Woodlands, TX Comments: As I continue to seek out "Avoidance Behavior" (to dodge assembling 5 pieces of patio furniture) I find myself drifting here to the '66 Guestbook. Let me just say I was AMAZED to see Don L.'s very nice Birthday Greeting to my very own self! I guess being an Honorary Member of the Class of '66 has definite perks. So let me raise a toast to you fine people and celebrate making it through one more season. Enjoy the present ... even while sheltering in place. The Fall Mini is just around the corner ... awaiting us.
Place: Richardson Comments: Paul - love your post, it pretty much sums up all that's been going thru my mind. It was so mice to see posts from those we don't normally hear from. As far Sally Taylor, I have not seen her on FB & she does occasionally check-in here. I was wondering about her too. Sally - If you see the posts please let us know if you & your husband & your dtr are doing and if you are OK!? Hang in there gang, this is going to be a rough week. The numbers will skyrocket. Stay in - - Stay Safe!
Place: Sachse Comments: Here's to you and here's to me. May we never disagree. But if we do.. Nope can't do that one. May you always have a roof for the rain, four walls for the wind and a good cup of brew by the fire. Laughter to cheer you, those you love near you and all that your heart desires. Until we can be together again, take care of yourself and your loved ones!
Place: Edmond Comments: Sally Taylor...if you are out there lurking, let us know you are OK in NYC. I am not on FB (I know, Neanderthal) so I don’t know if she has posted there or not.
Place: Cypress Texas Comments: Greetings SOC 1966 Peeps ! Cheers and love to each and everyone of you. Abundant blessings as we travel this new path in our lives..... there is so much to be learned. Cheers to you Sandy for being the heart of keeping us in touch all these years... ❤️🍾🎉
Place: Edmond Comments: 66’ers, We have been fortunate as Americans to not have experienced the destructive effects of war and massive disease to the extent as have other nations of the world. But now that it is our turn, this is when we show (not ”show off”) what Americans are made of. I think the Class of 66 is at the core of who that is: people who still care about one another 56 years after their special (e.g. High School) relationship changed in a major way: college for some, military for some, jobs, marriage, Viet Nam, 9-11, War on Terror, the Great Recession, much more, and then COVID-19. But still, the class holds together. That is really special. And, because of the circumstances in our world, it is even more special. So, thanks to everyone who continues to be part of something very, very, special. Here’s to the Fall Mini and the class of 66.

Place: Garland Comments: Our toast: To our friends, may we all stay safe and get together soon. And to technology- we just had a virtual happy hour with our kids and grand kids. Love to all of you and good health and happiness.
Place: The Texas Panhandle Comments: Hello everyone! Sandy recently urged her SOC friends on FB to post a Toast here, since the spring Mini Reunion that was planned for today had to be cancelled. I've attended 3 of the major reunions over the last 50+ years, but I've never been able to make it to a mini reunion. So it sounded like a great idea to me, here goes: ...with wine glass in hand , here's a VIRTUAL toast to you all, and I sincerely hope that you're safe at home, and doing well. Amid all the crisis surrounding us, let's celebrate US, and keep our family and friends close to our hearts. Peace y'all !
