Don called last night at 9:30pm & said swelling will have to go down on his wrist before can do surgery, hopefully tomorrow.  I haven't heard anything from anybody today!  I'm concerned & not happy!  I just called hospital to try & talk with someone about what's going on.  Took several pho calls but finally reached Don's nurse.

Not doing surgery today.  Right now he's having his heart evaluated due to the bypass surgery last Jan.  She said the plan for now is to do surgery tomorrow, 4-30.  At least she gave me her pho # so I can check back to see about the surgery.  This just stinks!

Thank you Susan, Carol & Ada Ann.  Yes, he could use some prayers!  I would greatly appreciate it!   [love]

Sandy, When it rains, it pours.  I am so sorry to hear about Don's accident and upcoming surgery.  It makes it so hard when you can't be there with him.  Please know that the both of you are in my prayers.  Love you, Lady!

Well, Don's done it this time!  He rode today & clipped a curb.  Threw him from his bike and as bad luck would have it . . .  his head & left wrist crashed into a street sign.  Not another thing on that stretch of road but that one sign.  Don't even remember what it said.

Had to make ER visit to Methodist in Richardson.  His left wrist is shattered!  It had really swelled by the time I got him picked up from the road and to the ER or they would have operated tonight.  Hopefully swelling will be down enough to do surgery tomorrow.  Of course I can't get passed the front desk check-in.  So I'm at home waiting to her when they will do surgery.  Orthopedic Dr. told him he really shattered his wrist into lots of pieces!! That's all I know, can't see him, he can only call me with his cell.  Hope someone calls to let me know what the heck is going on.

I can empathize as I developed drop foot after my stem cell transplant.  It makes for awkward walking but it is bearable.

Glad to see the updates that Larry and Sam are home, as well as Gordy, although still trying to get that leg in step. [thumb]

For all of you who have been following the saga of Larry Lewis, I have great news!  He finally got to come home this morning, 4-20-20!  He went into hospital on 2-11, then moved to Long Term Acute Care and then Rehab. It's been a long hard journey, but he's finally home.  Thank you all for the prayers you sent!!

Wolfman Jack is probably a good description!!  [rofl][rofl][rofl][rofl]  By the time this quarantine is over none of us will probably be recognizable!  Seems like I remember at our 45th reunion on the Fri night SOC Hop you took the mic and did a great Wolfman Jack rendition. [thumb]
