Comments: OK Don L, fess up. Who was your co-conspirator in this dastardly (and thoroughly unoriginal, I might add) deed? I think it was my brother who opened the door first and then I looked too. Fortunately, the bag was not well lit and sort of self-extinguished as we peered at it and then into the darkness where the giggling of pre-pubescent boys was heard in the distance. No one stomped on the bag. Even at maybe 11 years old, I was not dumb enough to fall for that. Hey, what did I ever do to you anyway? Debbie, I have no doubt that everyone, including me, will be praying for a good result from the procedure being done next week. Stay positive as we all will. Make sure Alan or the boys keep us informed. Love you bunches. ![]()
Comments: Toni: Was your book entitled "Snakes of South Oak Cliff"?
Comments: Pool Guy - That's a pretty creative way of telling that old guy, "Strong message to follow". But I'd be glad to make up your $1.95 loss to see his face after unfolding that paper.
Comments: Hey to everyone- It's great news about Sandy and hope and pray that she will contine with great recovery . BLB, the same goes with you and your loved ones for healing and strength; with GOD"S help, I'm sure yall will. Could I please be selfish and ask for extra prayers from my SOC family? I had a "chemical stress test" last Fri. and the cardiologist just called and said she wasn't happy with the results (didn't answer me when I asked why); anyway not to take any chances of blockage or any wanting to start- I am scheduled for outpatient Heart Cartherization (spelling?) next Mon. morning. Have to be there at 5:30AM and will have it done at 7:00AM and know the results while in recovery and then wait awhile and go home to TLC. Anit't it great getting old? I guess I inheirted my daddy's "conjestive heart failure", hope not!!!The only thing that makes me mad is that my brother-in-law is an alcholic, drugs at times, smokes like a chimmney, and washes his meds down with alchol and his stress test comes back "A OK'!!! Go figure , maybe that's what I need to start doing? DEBBLB, did you know Eloise McKamie, Wayne's sister-in-law? She was 92 and lived in Kileen nursing home. Well, my aunt (mom's siter in Waco) sent her a clipping that she had died last Sat.

Comments: Sandra -- yes I have a copy. You can read it.
Comments: Linda, do you have a copy of the book? Sounds like interesting reading.
Comments: Cindy Riggs, Of course I know you girl. Tennis player, dated my buddy Gerry Wayne (Creep) Steele. You should come to our "Shin Dig" this summer. I'm an old pool guy, and I attempt to bring a smile to these SOCites on a daily basis. Tell your sister hello, join us, these folks are the best friends you'll ever have.
Comments: Richard when did Dennis go over to Chips? Last I heard he was at Humperdinks on Greenville.
Comments: Oh - Toni, Sandra -- the book's name that my aunt published on my family's geneology is "Acorns to Oaks." She should have been one of those Harlequin novel writers. Toni, what is your book's name? No teasing!
Comments: Richard Nance -- I think the hamburgers at Chips are just about the very best. We used to eat there place regularly -- and the milk shakes are great too, and the pile of onion rings. Congratulations to your brother. He has a great place to eat. We don't eat there as much, cause we're not in Dallas as often. But I highly recommend it. Sandy McGee -- you're pretty creative with your paybacks. Glad I didn't get on your "bad" side in h.s. I'd think the guy was an a. h. too.
Comments: I remember you ,Cindy. Ed Tankersly introduced me to Brenda. I believe she called me outlaw. How are you both? What is Brenda doin these days?Any children?
