Comments: Jack are you trying to make a political statement, "BO"
Comments: I'll be sure and let you know if the "Cherry Pit" is a stopping place for Obama. Right now, I've heard he will be at our h.s. at the Sandra Meadows Memorial Basketball Gym. Glad I won't be by the h.s. in the afternoon. It should be a "zoo." Hi! Rick and Gary Dagley. Rick, miss your input on the GB, and Gary, we'd enjoy your input on the GB. I guess you two are just lurking for now.
Comments: Linda, is BO making a stop at the Pit?? Speaking of which, where is Rick? Seems he hasn't graced the pages in quiet awhile. Sorry, Richard. Guess I confused Dino's with 'Dinks and thought it must have been Humperdinks. Good thing I didn't ask about him when I was in there. I would have looked pretty silly. Glad I did something that caught your attention and has you watching, Sandy McM. I'm sure you'll let me know if I make a mistake!
Comments: John, there must be something more to life than stomping bags of dog poop. Go outside, sit on your porch and count cars.
Comments: Heard this morning that Barak Obama is going to grace Duncanville this afternoon. Anybody need directions? Sorry, you won't see me there although I hope the news gives my town a favorable showing. Debbie, I'll be praying for you and your healing. You seemed pretty perky when we were together; now you'll be perkier.
Comments: John, I knew you & Dru were looking for new things to do since you both retired . . . but is it that dull in The Woodlands!!??
Comments: Oh, sorry for the misspell ... that should have been "doog pop".
Comments: Sometimes I put a burning bag of doog poop on my own front porch - just for the heck of it.
Comments: Somebody(ies) did the brown paper bag trick at our house in Oak Cliff on Halloween and my poor daddy found it and tried to put out by stomping the daylights out of it!!!!! That's the first and last time I ever heard my daddy say a few "bad words". Just ask my cuz, she knows how quite Uncle Willie was
Comments: Toni-the family hasn't posted anything since she got out of surgery yesterday. I'm sure they are busy making arrangements for the move from ICU to Baylor Rehab. Lots of paperwork & big decisions to be made. Hopefully they'll make a post tomorrow. Deb, you'll certainly have our support & prayers!! Hang in there girl, things will get better. You'll feel so much better after the procedure you'll be ready to dance!
Comments: Deb, of course you will be in my prayers. BLB, good to see you post again. You, your family and friends are also in my prayers. Jack, next time I'm around you I will be keeping an eye on you. ![]() ![]()
Comments: Ah, the ol' burning bag trick. Charles Terry taught me that one. Jack, Dennis opened a place called "Dino's" on Greenville in the 80's. A bit ahead of the times, and the wrong partner. He's been with Chips for quite a long time...10 plus years, maybe over 15. You may be right about Humperdinks, but I don't recall that one.
Comments: The book I wrote was a record-score-keeping informational book designed for bicycle racing...who knew? Very important for racers but rather dull and boring for the average couch potato ....you see my younger son was a bicycle racer in many venues...novice, expert and pro....Texas Chain Gang, Team Robinson and Southwest Texas State! Ronney, I think a better title might be "How I Scared the Daylights Out of My Classmate With My Pet Snake and Lived to Tell About It"![]() ![]() Any more news on Christie....Sandy?....anyone?
Comments: DMC, of course you can count on our prayers...this group seems to be good at that. Getting old isn't so bad when you consider the alternative! Hang in there, girlfriend!
Comments: HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, Eileen. |
