Place: Edmond Comments: πππ§π€π€ͺπ. Sandy, as always, you are right.
Place: Richardson Comments: Paul, you've been isolated way too long! Just look at some of our Mini pics and you'll be glad we don't all look alike!
Place: Edmond Comments: I wonder why we donβt all look more alike. π
Place: Richardson Comments: Paul - It would be impossible to forget you! I'm sure our group is full of people who were bestmen to each other if my memory serves me right from some of the old photos we had shared. I think this group is worse than the old "7 steps to connect to Kevin Bacon" game. We could all connect to one another or a certain person in probably 5 or less!
Place: Edmond Comments: Hey! Donβt forget me...I have been worst man at more weddings than you can count.
Place: Update on Sammy Smith & Gordy Comments: Here's some good news!! Sarah just posted on FB that they were finally home! Been a tough road for Sammy too. So happy to know they're home & safe. Talked with Gordy and he's doing pretty good at home. He still has to use his walker because his drop-foot is still an issue. His knee replacement is doing good but he said the foot improvement isn't going as fast as he would like. We have good news on these two classmates. But please pray Larry Lewis gets out of that rehab place without COVID-19 and gets home Friday! Small world with us SOCites, tidbit of trivia: Gordy was Larry Lewis's bestman at his wedding and Larry was Toni Rogers & Ronnie Allen's bestman at their wedding. We're all connected.
Place: Edmond Comments: Wow! πππππππ
Place: Calif. Comments: That's a tough run of luck for the Lewis family. Two months? Man, that's a long time dealing with those issues. I trust they come out of this for the better.
Place: Richardson Comments: I was going to give you some great news on Larry Lewis this morning. But not now. As you know he went into the hospital for a minor procedure on Feb 11. Complications and he spent weeks in hospital. Then moved to a long term acute care center. Then to rehab center. It's been a long road back but on Saturday 4-11 he and Martha were told he could go home on Wed, 4-15. Martha was to pick him up that morning at 9:00am. They were all excited! Today was the only day Martha didn't go to see Larry bec she was home getting the house ready for his return and food in the pantry. He hasn't been home in a little over 2 months. this morning the rehab center called Martha and one of the workers was diagnosed with COVID-19. Everything is shut down. No one can leave. They were within 24 hours of him leaving . . . Tomorrow caregivers & patients will all be tested for the coronavirus and hopefully results by Fri. If he tests negative he can go home. Please pray his test is negative and he can go home!
Place: Overland Park, KS Comments: Thanks, Don! Hoping for a little less social distancing next year. π Hope that everyone is doing OK. Love to all. β€οΈ
