Place: Hot & Dry in Richardson Comments: Wasn't there a movie called "The Long Hot summer"? Wonder if they had to deal with a pandemic as well as the heat? "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" I went with my older best friend for life and her 3 girlfriends to see that when I was 10 and a half. The other girls were all 13. I never did see the cat in that movie, it was always a puzzle. Anyway - Don has another week to go before we go back to the surgeon. I'm praying that totally shatter small bone in wrist is healed enough to be able to put a brace on his arm. Not sure what next step will be, we'll find out next Thursday. I'm so tired of the owners, Rob Manfred & the Players Assoc. bickering over the # of games and all the other stuff!! Come to agreement and Let's Play Baseball before the winter sets in!! I would like to go see just one game at the new Globe Life even if I wear a mask and wrap myself in bubble wrap! C'mon, times running out. Ok, that margarita was good. Maybe I'll go fix another.

Place: Sunny & Hot in Richardson Comments: We saw Don' surgeon yesterday afternoon, 6-11. He did remove the long hard cast and replaced it with a shorter hard cast. At least this one is just below his elbow. He got a Hot Pink cast!! Still lots of pain in his arm and fingers hurt a lot but he's hangin' in there and working thru it. Go back to Dr. in 2 weeks. Hope everyone is staying safe and enjoying the beautiful weather even if it is mostly from your patio!
Place: Richardson Comments: Thanks Susan, I've run out of word as well. It's a very nasty shattered wrist and it's just going to take time to heal. Keep your fingers crossed this Thurs will be a good step forward with a short cast to replace that awful long one clear up to his armpit!
