Comments: Ronnie Mc- We all can find a little HEAVEN on earth - (hope and joy) from the Man of Galilee ---bottom line
Comments: Well, Happy Jack, maybe we will find all of our friends in heaven!!!! Actually, all of this talk of heaven and the book 90 Minutes in Heaven got started when I suggested it to Ada. It is a very comforting book for someone who is losing a loved one...or for someone looking to be inspired by a remarkable man (the author). Looking forward to seeing everyone at the June get-together.
Comments: Dang it KMG, you and I must not be on Toni's "Friends" list either!!
Comments: WELL!!! I guess I know where I stand. I didn't get a letter or any stamps from MS. TRJ. Am I the only one not on the friends list?? Once again Toni, you have broken my heart!! As a "friend" once a long time ago said to me about me, Ronney, "Hell, Jack, we all want to go to heaven, but you'd rather be with your friends". I still got high hopes (and plans) but am not in any hurry to find out what the answer is. For right now, I'm happy where I am. Even though I am broken hearted......
Comments: As a matter of fact, we send out a cute letter to all of our clients/associates/friends each time the postage increases...sending them several pages of 1 or 2 cent stamps! Our clients love that effort!
Comments: Okay, so I didn't catch the news bulletin. I didn't think it was "months ago" when they went up to 41 cents and I bought my last book of stamps the day before the increase and had to go back for one cent stamps then as well. A simple sign on the stamp machine saying "go ahead and get one cent stamps today since we are hiking the price again tomorrow" would be really helpful.
Comments: Hey, Nance, let's face it. Living in Heaven will be far better than living here. I am sure some of you would love to help us get there faster.
Comments: RW -- looked at the math websites you recommended. I probably couldn't do any better. Math was not my strong suite, especially word problems. YIKES!
Comments: Jack, you may have hit on something. Do you think Richard might have been wearing that wig ya'll gave him and the kidnappers mistook him for Elvis!!
Comments: Jack, I would have said something wittier, but the previous posts deemed it inappropriate. It looked like Ronney, Ada & Toni were beating down the gates of Heaven ready to walk in. What's all the rush.
Comments: Take a look at this, These people didn't graduate from SOC. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGW57yV-phU%20 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruIB8z74uPw&NR=1
Comments: Gee KMG, where have you been for the last few months??? It's been on the news and in the papers and everything. I knew it was coming, but didn't remember when till I walked into the post office to check my box and saw the signs. I too have been buying the "forever" stamps but still am caught with 1/2 a roll of "old" stamps and will need to buy some 1 cent stamps after the crowds go down. John, I can't believe that you just stood still with that music playing. I thought, for sure, you would have grabbed a partner and danced around the room, Showing all how it was and should be done. Swirling and swaying, ending with a dip. Probably would have gotten you moved to the head of the line. OK, Juan or Jose or Edwardo or who ever you really are. You can give it up. We know the real Richard Nance is not posting. Your lame comments don't hold a flame to the wit and wisdom of our friend. OH, you might as well set him free, we are NOT paying the ransom either!!
Comments: Karen, I think the Postal Service has been touting the price increase for several months. We stocked up this spring, buying several hundred of the "Forever" stamps. As an investment, they are a capital idea. The increase in tangible value from 41 cents to 42 cents represents a locked-in gain of 2.43%. Which exceeds the paltry 2.25% Chase Bank is now offering on their Certificates of Deposit! Mr. Nance, good to see you on the gb again. Sorry to hear you'll be out of town/country on June 7th.
Comments: So JS, were you in line for the one cent stamps as I was yesterday to go with the book of stamps I purchased last week? Couldn't they have mentioned the imminent price increase then so I wouldn't have had to stand in line again one week later? And they were not playing any music either.
Comments: Your age is showing John. Now a P. Diddy stamp would really make some noise. |
