Comments: We just got in from Texoma and I made the mistake of reading the Guestbook, I'm so sorry to red about our dear Christi. Great memories I will never loose from Oliver, Storey and SOC- for the longest I thought her and Eileen were sisters ( I guess in a way they are). GOD Bless you dear, dear Christi and your family and peace and love also to your husband's family. Also, reading the Sunday paper, my son kept for me, I read that Eddie Stevens had died in Allen and his funeral is Tues. He went to Storey and then lost track of him since he went to "Adamson", but I always remember him and his JFK impersonating, talent shows and everywhere. Love to all - DEB

Comments: Heaven will be a happier place. I am so glad that Christie is no longer suffering, but being selfish, I wish I could have seen her in June. The family has my prayers.
Comments: It is with a heavy heart and tears that I say this . . . Our dear friend, Christie Blevins Torbett, passed away at approximately 5:45am this morning. Also, Bill's sister passed away Thur & her funeral is also being planned. Please send your prayers for Bill Torbett because he will need all the strength he can get as he plans a funeral for his sister and his wife in one week!

Comments: Robert N. -- Praise God that the tornado missed you. Something like that really makes you stop and think. I know. I was in His hands a few years ago when a crazy kid in a bright, fancy, new, red sporty Toyota was showing off on the highway and lost control. Three times, I saw the tail end of his car in the air coming straight for my windshield. I thought, "This is the END." Each time, just before the car would have hit my windshield, his car suddenly went to my left and missed me. I have not figured any reason for it to do that, except that the Lord was protecting me. I had to stop and catch my breath when that was over. Then, I had to go see if the kid was OK after his car rolled over about 10 times....on Central Expressway of all places. Glad you and your family are safe. I would have thought you'd be safe from tornadoes in Colorado, too. Hmmmmm. Guess we can't be too secure anywhere.
Comments: Mr. McGoo...if you and Botox Bovie can't get your balls out of the sand at Cedar Crest...well...that explains it all!!! May we all be thankful for the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our ability to even have a Memorial Day Holiday...at 3 P.M. on Monday...please say a prayer. Comments: Well I thought I moved out of tornado alley but yesterday one went just over our head and land just north east of us here in Colorado. It tore up a lot but the Lord saw fit that it missed us. Hey Jack, I remember Richard, I remember that little sports car he had, what was that ? an Austin Healy or what ? take care folks.
