Comments: Sandy, Thanks for the golf invite. I have protruding discs in lower back and doctor has restricted me from swinging clubs. We are trying to keep them from rupturing. Surgery is probably due for end of year. I do appreciate the invite. If you guys ever get up a marble game we can talk or possibly a game of checkers. I might try the the pillow fights but now the girls know where my weak spot is. OUCH Alvin

Comments: Prof. Smiley, the crowds outside the ropes just got smaller. You and Lefty were scheduled in the first foresome. I"ll take your raincheck and tell Cold Cash Dagley he has to hustle someone else. Don Fugate, Senior Tour player from New Mexico is scheduled to give an exhibition at Twin Creeks in Allen at 1:00 tomorrow.
Comments: Sandy Joe, I regret to have to miss the first Bear Golf Classic. Bob and Wendy have bought a new home and close on June 2nd and have made it clear they want me and my trailer on duty for the move. Von will be keeping the BAY-RATS for the week and we will be moving all week. Sorry to miss such a great event. Yuvonne and I have Christie and her family at the top of our list. She will be truly missed.

Comments: Karen MG: Dadgummit!!!!!! I am here working at a small contract job I work on every now and then. I looked at Christie's page, as you suggested. NOW I am sitting here on the verge of tears at the office! But, that's OK. It's well worth it. That was a neat rainbow they saw after she passed on. Moments after my dad passed away, it started snowing. And, it was later in the spring than usual for snow to fall. We took it to be a final moment with him, just as Christie's family took the rainbow to be a farwell from Christie. I am just hoping Christie's family is doing OK now...especially her husband.
Comments: BTW, if you haven't looked at Christie's family website today, be sure and do so. It will make you cry and smile at the same time. Christie did get to tell her family goodbye in a remarkable way. God bless you Christie. You will be sorely missed.
Comments: SNL, thanks for the beautiful tribute to Christie on the In Memoriam page. I look forward to seeing Donnie's tribute tonight since I can't play it on my work computer. Barb, I am so glad I got to tell you Happy Birthday in person on your birthday. You're the best!  Toni, I have decided to contribute to the Dream Fund in lieu of flowers as Christie's family requested also. Everett, I read about your Memorial Day Cookout fiasco with amusement. I hope you were able to salvage it.
Comments: Barb, A very happy birthday to a beautiful lady. Donnie, the tribute to Christie is wonderful....we will always remember that smiling face and feisty spirit. Christie, may you rest in peace. I'm in FL for a few days.

Comments: Been away from the GB for a while. It was sad to see the notes re the passing of another of our friends. Joyce and I will remember Christi and her family in our prayers. DWF, another excellent presentation and a fitting remembrance for a friend. On the lighter side a belated HB to Barbara.
