Congratulations, Shortcake. I knew if you kept taking pictures that you would either get arrested or become famous. I'm glad it was the latter.

Ok everyone - two pieces of good news - one of my pictures made the front cover of one of the fire magazines.  I saw the magazine on line today but have not gotten the magazine yet - hopefully by Saturday.  The other news is it you go into the Firehouse Sub Restaurant out at Firewheel and you see the collage on the wall the pictures are all mine.  I have not been out there yet to see it but hopefully will get there tomorrow.  See you guys later.

To all of the Soc people. Words can never explain what you all meant to our mom. She truly loved going to the reunions and mini-reunions and getting to know all of you better. Toni, Karen, Barbara and Sandy Lynn and I am quite sure I missed a few...we appreciate everything that you all did for our mom and our family. The tribute Mr. Fugate put on this wonderful website is something that we can all share with our children throughout their own school years to show them how much fun Memaw had with all of you. To all of you your presence Friday and Saturday was comforting to all of us and much appreciated. Please email me troubleof5@aol.com with addresses as I have many thank you's to send and nowhere to send them. God Bless All Of You.

OK OK, I didn't know I was missing. SOCrates had a great time in New York. I wish I could have seen
Sally but that didn't work out. Sally, maybe next time?
Christie's funeral was nice. I'm glad I went.
Now for New York, I want to go back and see more of the Museums, There is so much to do there.
Niagara Falls is still there but I was told that it keeps moving, 8 to 12 feet a year. I can't believe that. The fire works over the Falls on Memorial Day were fantastic.
I will send pictures of SOCrates to  SNL if she wants to post them on the site.

Amen to what Toni said. Lurkers and classmates who haven't made it to a mini reunion yet, please, please know you are missed and your presence is highly anticipated. There will be someone there that you know, and lots of new great friends to meet and chat with. Don't let this chance go by to have birthday cake in celebration of our sixties together, because we never know what tomorrow may bring.

Shortcake....you are in rare form!   To all the lurkers out there....and you know who you are....come on down to see everyone on Saturday....we would ALL love to see you.  We're all going to be celebrating our 60th birthday so you don't want to miss that!  We won't get that chance again.....we'll maybe one or two of us will (Sally Taylor and me for sure!!).....we really would like for you to attend.  If you don't want your picture taken, heck, show up anytime after 2:30 p.m. (sorry SNL!) but show up!  You know you want to.....you need to know that we all want you....you won't be sorry!  Like Linda Perkins Rich said - be there or be square!  Don't dissapoint us....just be there!  It's time to come out of hiding!

Sorry - that should have read "The rain has subsided now, so I'm leaving to get gassed."

Ada Ann -- Hope everything goes well at the doctor"s office.  I'm planning on bringing a book to the mini for you to read (if I don't forget), so be there or be square.  Take care.

DWF -- Saw your caring video tribute to Christi.  It was so nice.  At her funeral, there was a beautiful slide show of her life.  You could see there was such loving care taken with her service.

Hi, everyone!

Jack, I liked your post about the definition of a veteran.  Instead of observing the traditional moment of silence at 3:00 on Memorial Day, my mother and I talked about the members of our family who had served.  That just seemd to be right for us to do.

Oh, how I wish that I could be there on Saturday!  The witty remarks (John S. and KMG!) are going to fly - perhaps along with some other stuff!  Ada, you be well and be there!

Don F., until today I haven't been able to view your videos.  This morning my manager let me download the "player".  Your tribute to Christie made me teary, but many of the other slides made me smile.  Great job!

I keep forgetting to say this - HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, Barb!

The rain has subsided now, so I'm leaving to get gas.

Love you - Carol

JAda, I hope the doc finds what caused your problem, takes care of it, and gets you on that plane to come see everybody this weekend. You know I'm just a few med courses short of being a physician's assistant's next door neighbor, so if you need another opinion or diagnosis, just give me a call. Love you, girl.
