Comments: Happy Fathers Day to all of the really great SOC guys out there. Since I know that ya'll are really great guys I know you have to be really great Fathers!
Comments: Being that it's Flag Day, I have a spectacular display to show you. I've never seen anything like it before and I guarantee it will make you stand up and sing along!! It was sent to me by Martha Noah (Victor's Mom). Turn your speakers on & enjoy! http://uk.youtube.com:80/watch?v=iCz3BA-oNlY
Comments: J.D. - glad to see you made it home safely. It was great having breakfast with you and Southworth Sunday morning . We are at the lake now-were going to celebrate Father's Day but Bobby has kidney stones at this minute so plans are in the air til we figure out how he is going to feel by Sunday ![]() Right now he is doped up on a lot of pain medicine.See you guys later and let me be the first to wish all of you SOC guys a HAPPY FATHERS DAY!
Comments: I, too, am deeply saddened at the passing of the head of NBC's Washington Bureau, Tim Russert. He was a great journalist. One of the BEST. A true gentleman in the industry I belonged to for so many years. NBC has a huge hole to fill in trying to replace him.
Comments: J.D. - glad to see you made it back home in one piece. How did your trip the the Hillsboro/Lake Whitney area go? I read that the lake is down a few feet. Thanks for your multiple displays of generosity last weekend. JS
Comments: Well James...do you really think I would have entered that spelling...must have been someone trying to be me...sorry that there is an imposter out there.
Comments: I'm sorry..it was TIM RUSSERT of MEET THE PRESS who died...well you know Tim and Brett sound a lot alike!
Comments: J. D., I'm not sure about Dale's spelling, BUT, I believe it is pronounced FARVE, AND spelled FAVRE. As in Brett Favre, Future member of the National Football League Hall of Fame, QBack of the green bay packers.
Comments: Just a joke for SNL
I thought she might be able to sleep better at night!!!
Not a nice thing for J.D. to do
Comments: Turn on your TV's and Radios...
BRETT FARVE DIED this afternoon!!!
Comments: Jack, you must be kidding...Mr. Smiley is never out of the Spelling Bee...in fact, I believe that if we talked to the teachers he worked with and or supervised...you would find that he got in line every year...especially when a KMG look alike was in the class! Southworth...you are really ahead of your class...although I can't get the website you posted...I too find it hard to believe that Hitler would have allowed Buckwheat on the screen..as it was...Jessie Owens had a hard time running in the Olympics in 36'. But then again...when I get home I'll look at the site and probably find something like a photo shop job rather than a real picture...LOL Black & White...yea...alright! Whatever! Mr Nance...please ring in on this...you seem to know Mr. Southworth better than I do...although he offered to buy my breakfast last Sunday...then left me the bill for not only my breakfast...but his as well! LOL ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sounds a lot like McGee or Smiley!!!
Comments: Sit down, Dale. You are out of the spelling bee!
Comments: Kareen, I stand corrected.
Comments: Tomorrow is Flag Day! Be sure to wave it proudly like it is on our Home pg. ![]() I spent Wed & Thur nites "preparing" the many photos I recvd. Tonight I hope to actually post something! I put the cake photo up on the Event pg late last night! Man, that carrot cake was goood!!
Comments: JS, are we really to believe that Hitler would allow an obviously non-Aryan like Buckwheat (or Otto, whatever) to appear in movie serials as a German?!? Utterly ridiculous. Now what Smiley said is right. Although I believe he spells it Kareem. (I hope you won't mind the spelling correction, Dale). |
