I'm very late in saying this, but Thanks for the 1st drink on 678 Don Fugate & JD Thanks for the 2nd one!  Also, thanks to JD for the scrumptious ice cream at i Fratelli's!! That was outstanding! (JD-now every time I look at a Kleenex I shudder!!! )  Carol C, your wonderful Kansas City box of goodies was appreciated too!  Although I don't drink wine, Jimmy Hughes bought wine for everyone at dinner!!  We also had the 3 gifts brought by John & Dru!  I know I certainly loved mine!!!  We had a lot of generous people that Saturday and it was truly a spectacular day and evening!  A BIG Thanks to every one who came to the Party!  

Because new people look at the GB every day... don't forget to see the 75 photos post of the 6-7-8 party!  Go to our EVENTS pg and see the info.  If you looked when I first put some of them up - - go back and look again. I added more & was finally able to get the album fixed correctly after much trouble with the server hanging up & not processing my updates!! Don't you just love high tech!!

Article in this AM's Longview paper about the A & M boat that sank off the coast of Galveston. Picture of Jay Kimbrough holding a news conference in Galveston. You can go to www.galvnews.com to see the pic. He is still affilliated with A & M as a Deputy Chancellor/Counsel for the university and is heading up the investigation for them in regards to the boat incident.

Mike and I were drafted on the same day and had basic training together at fort bliss. It was nice to have a friend from school to go through basic with. Very sad news. He was a good friend.

JD - Sorry for the delay - yes, Michael (Mike, Mac) McDonald, was the dark haired guy w/dark looking glasses in our Den & mini-Den from the reunion, also an Army VN vet.
