Does this mean that you and your wife own a lot of cattle?  Maybe like the John Dutton ranch? Nice to hear from you

Welcome Dana. I was one of the class “secrets” so you probably don’t remember me. Speaking of remembering...and eating lunch, which was one of my favorite “subjects,” does anyone else remember the plate lunch salad one Christmas with the leaves that looked like the were from the shrubs along the front of the school? Along with the pats of butter that had been around too long those leaves were a real treat. The rancid butter burps kept me awake during afternoon classes so I guess they served a good purpose.

Hello Dana, Glad to see you found the SOC site. It's a good way to keep in touch with OLD classmates. Did you marry Leonard Reese or is that just another guy named Reese. Not being nosy buy just wondered. By the way, I also used to eat lunch at school.

Hi, Dana! It’s so good to hear from you! Hope that you will remember me. I was in the band. Oh...and we often ate lunch together!
Our class usually has two mini reunions each year - one in the spring and one in the fall - but not this year, of course. Hopefully you will start coming to those when they resume. Sandy, who maintains this site, organizes them and keeps us informed about them.
Take care - and keep checking in here, please.

Hello, It's been a long time, but after playing around with classmates com,  Jack H responded and suggested I sign the guestbook  I actually have been trying to  keep up for many years  I have laughed and I have cried   My memory is so bad, I sometimes have to get the yearbook to remember who you are  My life has been filled with my four children, grandchildren(8), and my (1) great-grandchild  I don't do much , as my health isn't that great  God is good and I take it a day at a time  I love you all

Glad to see a site for those of us that's left to carry on with our lives and the rewards of being an American .

In our search for Frankie Petrik, the initial Google hit came up with an Ancestry link to "Lawrence Dale Ringo".

I know her 1st marriage was to Larry Ringo, but since he didn't graduate with us and I didn't know him that well, I never heard that name til yesterday.  But, he died in '76 and has a headstone at a Dallas cemetery.

Thanks D&B for info on Karen & Mike.  We were wondering about them tonight at supper.  Glad they're getting out before the rush tomorrow and the storm coming in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Be safe Jerry & Joyce and Karen & Mike!!  Keep us posted if you have internet.

Barb texted with Karen. They were packing and going north to Waller to stay with Janice and Randall.

Hope the Tillery's stay safe.

Haven't heard from Karen & Mike, but Galveston is under mandatory evacuation. The Tillery's are batting down the hatches. I'm hoping it will come in East of Houston. Usually, the backside of the storm causes less damage and fewer tornadoes. Mother nature likes to keep us guessing.

Has there been any news from our southernmost members about having to evacuate?

Thank you Don L. for the update on our classmate Frankie Petrik Sheppard.  We had her last name of Sheppard on the books but didn't know she had passed away.  Another name to add to the list.
I appreciate the info!
