Thank you,l Jim  Those rehearsals may have  been early, but sooo much fun  I remember when Butch Arnold told me that if I practiced more, I could be really good  I must of had my mind on other things.

H a p p y  B i r t h d a y wishes go out to our quintuplets, Janie Jones Gann, Sammy R. Smith, Sammy M. Smith, Charles Moss, & Rusty Powers for Aug. 31st!

Folks, we hope you’re all celebrating another great one, despite our semi-isolated conditions.  Just be sure to open some windows and doors when you light off that many candles indoors!

Best wishes for many more great ones ahead!

A big Hello to Dana Rich Reese and so glad to see you on the website. Always good to reconnect with not only classmates but a fellow band mate. Lots of morning rehearsals and performances throughout the years. Also heard from Michael Hopkins (‘67) last Friday.
Happy Anniversary to Dale and Yuvonne. Dale and I go way back and he definitely married up. Yuvonne Bless your Heart.

Well, Happy 50th Anniversary, Dale and Yuvonne. I'm out of the pool. Dale, I didn't think you would make it this long! LOL. Figured you'd have driven her over the edge before this. And the fun continues.
Dana, so glad you decided to check in. Hope you are glad too and will stay in touch. I think we and a class or two over the years.
Paul, sounds like you are feeling better. Good deal.
Don, are you EVER gonna retire??

Hi Dana - I just looked up your photo in the '66 Den and don't recall that we had any classes together, so chances are that you will not remember me either.  I was in classes for half a day, then DE, where I worked after lunch with Duane Chafin at downtown Bonds Clothing.

Here on the guestbook, you can try to re-establish contact with anyone you recall and Sandy (SNL) or one of us will let you know if we've heard from them recently or if they chose to not respond to past invitations to join us at reunions or minis.

Meanwhile, if you'd like me to add your name & birthdate to my reminders list for our class (similar to the anniversary entry for Yuvonne & Dale), please click the e-mail link in the upper right and send me a note.  I do my best to post announcements when they're due, but I'm still working full-time and often send 'catch-up' entries on weekends.

Once again, welcome aboard!

Yes, here's a catch-up entry for yesterday ...

H a p p y  50thn r sato Yuvonne Fox & Dale Smiley for Aug. 28th!

Notes say they were married in Dallas, TX, 1970.  Despite all the potential hunting accidents resulting from 'gift hats’ with antlers, it’s good to see you’ve both survived another year in the ‘free fire zone’ out there.

Major c
ongrats & best wishes for many more!

Thanks for everyone making me feel welcomed  Dale, 50 yrs?  That's a long time, I remember Yvonne But we never ran in the same circles , but come to think of it, I don't think I ever ran in a circle, I was pretty stand-offish  But she was beautiful, and still is  Lucky you

Dana - So nice to see you post!  I'm Sandy Norman Lynn and yes we all go by weird names here!  I simple use the "SNL" moniker and others have their own.  We tell jokes, shown empathy and compassion for our friends who aren't doing so well and get excited when an old friend, like you, appears.

We've had Mini Get-Togethers since 2001 until this year.  Then, everything changed.  We're all hoping by Spring we can start meeting again and having fun.  Whether you are on Facebook or not, this is where our class talks about our lives as not everyone wants to share it on FB.  Welcome to our class site!!

Dana,  You might remember Yuvonne Fox. She and I celebrated our 50th anniversary yesterday. And no, it is nothing like Yellowstone at the Lazy S Ranch. The name was already on the gate when we bought it. I wanted to name it the OLEO ranch ( because it's one of the cheaper spreads). We have 350 acres and keep about 20 mother cows and two bulls. We sold 10 calves Wednesday and got a fair price for them so watch out for higher meat prices at the market. Also,  I certainly remember you in school but who is this Paul guy?

Dana,
I was a tall (grew 4 inches our senior year) geeky guy who drove some teachers crazy with an open mouth before engaging brain “style.” I knew Sally Taylor but not a whole bunch of band members. I think it is fair to say if you remembered me you should get the Nobel Prize for Recollection. Glad you could join us. Hopefully, we will make you smile a few times. 😁

Ok, Paul S, yes you were a secret  My granddaughter asks me " Grandma, will you give me a clue'  That is what it would take for me to remember you.  But don't feel bad  I don't remember a lot of you.  So, I would need lots of clues  I hope we can meet and thanks for welcoming me to the site.
