Place: LV, TX Comments: Annette, SNL, All - Last evening, I was reminded that locating classmates sometimes comes with mixed results. I sent a short e-mail inquiry: "Hi Louis – I don’t know if you’re the same person, but you have the same name as a guy who lived in our old neighborhood. My family and I lived in the South Oak Cliff (SOC) section of Dallas thru the 1960’s. If you’re the same Louis Petrik, you had 2 older sisters, Thelma and Frankie. Are you the same one?" His reply: "Don, That would be my dad. He lives in Duncanville. Unfortunately, both Frankie and Thelma have passed away. I have one aunt named Liz who also still lives in Duncanville. - Louis Petrik, CEO, Longhorn Solar" I spoke with Louis, Sr., this evening for about 45 min. He and my brother, Doug, were classmates (SOC '68). He and his family lived only a block down from us. He confirmed that both his older sisters, Thelma (SOC '64) and Frankie (SOC '66) had passed away. He said Frankie died of a heart attack at age 60 and was found by her son upon returning home - somewhere in the vicinity of Lake Ray Hubbard, apparently no obit. With Kathy's genealogy assist: Ancestry.com shows Frankie Jean 'Ringo', 2nd marriage to 'Sheppard', Rockwall, County, TX, 6 Jun. 1981; then, Soc. Sec. Death Index, Frankie Jean 'Sheppard', Kaufman County, TX, 14 Aug. 2008. So, it was good to speak with Louis, but wish I had better news about Frankie. I also wish I'd had better news to share with Louis about Doug.

Place: Richardson Comments: Annette - Virginia Byars din't want to be found and didn't want o give info. Is Janice McDonald her maiden or married name? Zita Campbell is on FB as well as Chris Paul. As Jack said, Duane Chafin is doing fine & he lives in Dallas. We couldn't find Frankie Petrik for the reunions. I have not heard of a Mac Lynne Fecteau no records on anyone by that last name. Sherry Morgan, no clue? Is that her married last name or maiden? John Mowery is doing fine & lives in Plano. Hope this helps. If you have a differnet last name (maiden name) for Janice or Sherry, let me know and I'll check.
