Hello to you, too, Toni!! Karen MG, as Don noted, I gave all
info to him in an e-mail not long ago.  You were right on Ed's birthday.  Mine falls on Christmas Day.  Years and years ago, my b-day took forever to come around.  Now, I blink and another year is added on!!
Richard, Ed thinks you're remembering Mike Ralston (where Santiago originated from).  Mike passed away, we heard.  Seems like it was in November, 2005.  His picture is in the '64 Den, a Sr., but do not believe he graduated with his class.

SPS...what Internet Browser do you use...Explorer or another browser like firefox?

The problem is in your browser...there is a box which must be checked...advise me through the e-mail and I might be able to help you tonight when I get home.

This is usually a very simple fix.

Why can't I see any of the pictures on the GB?  All I get are little red x's in little boxes.

John - maybe you should ask Toni about taking money out of her Dad's wallet and taking the whole neighborhood horseback riding at the Singing Hills Stables.   We used to ride there a lot also.

Ada Ann, LOVE the picture of the kids on horseback. You have raised two fine sons and I know you are proud.

Thanks for the b-day wishes Ed and Barbara. You need to let us know your birthday Barbara so we can wish you happy birthday also. I think Ed's is June 5th. Is that right?

McGee, you may be on to something about Jack. He says he is going to be away from his email for a couple of weeks and they just had another bust at the Cherry Pit, taking everyone's ID and taking their pictures. Do ya think???!!

Mr. Southworth...SNL is correct...Singing Hills Riding Stables was owned by Sandra Gorman's (class of 66 who now lives in Lancaster). Because my farm (located next to the South Loop Drive In )grew alfalfa and sold to the Gormans, I became extremely familiar with the operation and spent one summer working there at about 1.25 per hour and all the lunch I could eat.

Nice family, great horses and lots of fun.

Oh John , what memories!  Louis Langford and I used to go to the riding stable nearly every Sat mrng in elementary sch.  His Dad wd take us & my mom wd pick us up.  Sandra Gorman from our class and her family owned them, not sure if it was the same stables as the one you went to or not.  It was that direction!  And by the time I was in 7th grade I learned of the Crest Theater and Shamrock Skating Rink.  I have nothing but great memories of Shamrock!!!  Myself and 2 other girls i met there became good friends with the owners son.  He was abt a yr or so younger than me.  We had some great times out there and in 10th grade SOC's skating club used the Shamrock for our monthly meeting & skate time.

That photo of Ada Ann's kids on horseback brought back some good memories of how we spent Saturdays in my early teenage years.

There was a place in the back of Singing Hills where you could rent a horse by the hour and ride all over their acreage. They had one palomino horse that everyone tried to reserve. Gave you a chance to pretend you were Roy Rogers.

Also, they had one horse who must have been left-handed, because you had to mount him from his right side or he'd try to bite you.

Then I got a little older, became fascinated with "girls", and my Saturday activities moved to the Shamrock Skating Rink.

I asked Donnaley Pratley Riley if she rented out by the hour ... horses, that is. She says "yes", she's got this one horse named "Postal Employee" that would be just right for me. In the pic she sent, he does have that "disgruntled" look about him.

Don L., you and Kathy surely are real pet lovers to take on all of those furpeople! Good luck! We finally took down the cavalier condo since we're down to 2 cavalier puppies.  I really hope we sell them soon as we are growing more and more attached!

Did someone mention depositing money into the Ranger Beer Fund?  We're contributing on 7/31 - Seattle Mariners and again on 8/7 - NY Yankees.

Ada, you have a really handsome-looking family.  You should make greeting cards for them with that picture on the front!  What a fantastic background!

Linda P/Sandra McM, maybe you should drive by the Cherry Pit to make sure RW didn't fall in....we haven't heard from him in a while!

Hello, Ms. Arnold!  Long time no hear from!

Ed and Bab's...good evening. Ed I've been trying to remember a guy's last name we used to cavort with. "Mike" something...the male nurse at the VA hospital....this guy should have been in stand-up comedy.

Don L., I do believe Happy Jack Hawkins is into leather. He moved and rocked with his belt as though he had been there before. I was behind him at the mini and thought I saw a mask in his back pocket. Has he ever mentioned a place called The Cherry Pit to you?

DWF and I are playing golf next Thursday. We'll call and set it up when the two of you can join us.
