Comments: Hey Mike - - Since you're back home in Houston and now have ofcs in Austin, Arlington & Denton, maybe you can work out a little road trip to Arl in late Oct & stay over for our party on Nov. 1. It sure wd be nice to see you again, it has been a very long time!!!! Glad you are feeling better and your health has improved too!
Comments: There will be a golf outing next week at indian Creek golf course in Carrollton. Tee times are set for Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. We will have 10-12 66' & 67' players. Comments: Karen MG - Coach Turner lived on the 1300 block of Marfa, but at the corner where Ramona crossed by. Since he was our 1st coach & Oliver opened after we spent the 1st semester at Lisbon, it would have to be '54-55 til he moved closer to Oliver. I do recall the location of your house (the scene of the front porch 'sack-o-poop' blaze is forever burnt into my brain), but not the exact yr he moved to your street. Maybe David H recalls ... Coach Turner's house, I mean - I'm sure he recalls the fire!
Comments: Hey Don L.- look out as we have just opened an office in Austin and I will be traveling there from time to time, so save your pennies as lunch is on you! Jack you are not out of this either as we have one in Denton and Arlington, so the hot dogs are on you!

Comments: John, I not everyone, it honestly meant nothing to me. Congratulations Ronnie, you'll have a great time at the wedding. KMG we missed you to at the luncheon.
Comments: SNL, I can't claim to have known that method of stopping prior to that incident. Let's just say I "discovered" it that day.
Comments: KMG - I'm wondering who the fool was that turned his MG over to a 14-year-old to drive on I35 !!!????  Good thing you knew the "donut" method of stopping!! BTW - Juan said hello!

Comments: Congrats Ronney on your son's marriage. I know you are proud. The pics from GNO are great. Wish I could have joined you but was stuck at work. I didn't know Gary Bishop but met him literally by "accident" once when I was 14 and was offered to drive a friend's MG. We took it out on R. L. Thornton and after getting up to 80 miles per hour, I lost control of the sensitive steering trying to get it in high gear and did a donut. We spun completely around and ended up slamming sideways into the 8th Street overpass barrier. Miraculously, no one was hurt, but as were inspecting the damage and wondering what to do next, Gary pulls over behind us. He recognized the car because it had just been repaired at his family's shop for previous damage a few days before! We were able to drive it away. I gladly relinquished the wheel.
Comments: I forgot about the ping pong...played everyday. Listen, SNL, on Fridays nights we could barely lift our heads let alone bodies.
Comments: Congratulations Ronney on the upcoming wedding this Sat of your son to your new dtr -n-law! If you think it was stressful being Father -of-the Groom . . . you better start resting up now as Father-of-the-Bride is like the wildest roller coaster ride you've ever had!!!    Richard - - Which battle would that be? When you fought to win the Bowling Trophy or the Bar Trophy???  You Navy guys always knew how to "lift" things. Like bowling balls, ping pong paddles, drink glasses, etc. In fact, the last Navy guy I saw had a girl lifted over his head!!   Can't wait to see the pic!
