At any rate, don't you think it's a bit chancy backing a 72 YO dinosaur when, in the 21st century, he doesn't have the ability to even log onto this website to comment on an issue or ask for your vote ...seriously...he can't operate a computer, send/receive emails...he's said so, he doesn't know how. The potential leader of the free world can't do what my 4 YO granddaughter has mastered. I can't see backing that one. And I remember Carter all to well...I just never thought I'd see a worse President in my life-time....Bush tops even Jimmy for an all time low. But, that's just me.......me and 76% of the rest of America.
Comments: Lucky for the kids and grand kids they got Dad's and Linda's good looks and not mine. I think it's one of those 'skip a generation' things and something I can't be blamed for. We had both of them overnight for the fist time last weekend and really enjoyed it. Brycen is trying to stand up in stead of trying to crawl and seems to be as smart as Caden, who is far too smart for his own good, so I think we are all in trouble. They are fun to have around and we are lucky they live 20 minutes from us so we get to see them often. Unlike you in the big cities, 20 minutes for us out West means in another town. Thanks for the compliments, I'll pass them along to those responsible.

Of course, you will have to be patient as we bombard you with our son's wedding pictures!! Still waiting to get them so we can send some to SNL. Rod -- I agree with Hawkins. Did someone leave those kids on your doorstep? They look too cute and too smart to be your's. haha! I figured your grandkids would be ultimate rednecks!!!!!!!!

Comments: KarenMG---I think most of us could do just as good as these jokers we have! It's amazing how rich they end up! Why don't they stop gaming their party and remember the folks. It's like how many politicians does it take to change a light bulb---10 Democrats and 10 Republicans to screw the tax payers, and 1 janitor to screw in the bulb. They're just plain out of touch.

Comments: Jack, you are right about the primary system and the campaign lasting almost two years. Isn't that how long Obama has been in office ? McCain started in 2000 and picked back up in 2006 for his campaign. Mrs. William Jefferson Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton started in the ' 90's. Are there really any undecided voters out there in the Heartland of America ? Are the polls skewed by people not really being honest in regards to race being an issue or not.

Comments: Sorry Dale, I gotta go along with Mr Southworth on this one. Man, I never thought I'd be saying that. Our choices are pretty sad this time around. We really need to change the primary system too. There is no reason a few states and few people should get to narrow the choices for the rest of us. We need to limit how long the campaigns can last and have a national primary day. Maybe three months before the election.
