SNL, I never realized Charles had any health issues, let alone anything that scary; keep us informed and let him know we're thinking of him.

I'm not a McCain guy, but he did quite well last night...much better than the other two debates.

GB Gang listen up!  Our dear friend, Charles Moss, is in need of our prayers & support.  He had an irregular heartbeat Sun night & got in to see his cardiologist Tue.  After many hours of test they told him he has an arterior aneurysm!!  Today he will have a CT scan to determine how big it is and if surgery is needed.  But as most of you know, he has Cystic Fibrosis and he fears he may not survive a surgery.  Charles never complains and is always thankful for every day, but this is a serious situation and he is scared.  He said he loves all his SOC friends and asked if we would all pray and ask God for one more miracle for him!  PLEASE send prayers for our SOC friend and one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.  He or someone will call me tonight with more info & I'll pass it on to you.   Let the prayers begin . . .

Dale, you may encounter some difficulty collecting your debt due to the Statute of Limitations in our debtor-friendly state.

Texas Civil Practice & Remedies Code § 16.004 (a) states: “A person must bring suit on the outstanding debt not later than four years after the day the cause of action accrues”.

But maybe SNL can sic Guido on the guy and get some snappy results.

SNL,
I had no idea you were in the business. I loaned Chris Paul $0.75 our junior year on the way to school on or around September 14, 1964. Gary Allen was riding in the car and will serve as a  witness. While Chris does not deny the loan, I just can't seem to persuade him to pay up. Please forward any needed contracts or paperwork necessary to hasten this transaction. Thank you, in advance, for your attention to this request

Hey Buddy - - You aren't the first to complain about that debtor they call Pool Guy!  Last time we had to end up sending Guido out to gently persuade him to pay!

After reading about all the 'Boys injuries in last night & today's paper....  I'm depressed!!!  In case you aren't keeping score here's the grocery list of injuries and length of time expected to be out!
Romo - 4-6 wks, Newman 4-6, McBriar 6-8, Hurd 6-8, Felix Jones 2-4, Anthony Spencer is wk to wk, Roy Wms our SS is might play Sun, maybe, maybe not?  Of course Packman is outta here!  Only good news is Roy Wms from Detroit was acquired & he & T.O. should light up the field & give them a real challenge!!  Lets hope Brad doesn't get hurt as we have no 3rd string! If he does I guess we'll be asking Crayton or Stanback to fill in!!!

SNL - I was wondering if I could acquire your serves on some IOU's from Pool Guy's golf. Plus some future IOU's. I know the boy likes the Pink Sox over the Ray's (not going to happen). I hate taking candy from a baby but I could probable talk him into a Dodger rally over Philli too. Glade to see Roy Williams back in the Lone Star State. Send the  Packman packing. The BOYS need a road win Sunday

Ronney & Susan -- Thanks for the birthday wishes.  Ronney, you got an awe... out of me.  Us girls just LOVE compliments.

Jack, I don't know exactly what I thought about the Amish life, but they aren't poor.  They have beautiful homes/farms and live among us "regular" folks.  If you go there, Mondays are wash day and they have their laundry out on long clothes lines that go around a pulley.  Some of the lines had laundry strung across the whole yard front or back.  That's how I could tell it was an Amish home.  In their garages were buggies, no cars.  It was most interesting.  I think about the movie "Witness" with Harrison Ford and when he was staying in the Amish community.  In the movie there were wheat fields, but when we were there, the fields mostly had corn stalks in them in various growing stages.  I just thought the whole area was so beautiful and peaceful.

Richard - I sell a service!  I work for a Commercial Collection Agency, Richmond North!  I contact whomever makes the decisions regarding their company's A/R and sell them on using my company!  We collect on accts ranging from a few hundred dollars to hundreds of thousands of dollars and I've even received a few that were over a million.  We're like an extension of your credit dept.  We get the tough ones that won't pay!!  If any of you have the responsibility of getting your company's a/r current (or know someone who does)- - give me a call, we're very good at what we do & we work on a fully contingent basis!  So there you have it... been doing this same job for 23 years!

The Boogity Bears will be meeting at the Macy's North door.  Try to arrive by 7:00 am.  If you don't find us, we'll be meeting after the race at Corner Bakery inside the mall.  I posted my previous message on the 63 site and got the veri word - "weep".  The word on the 64 site was "cope".  Very appropriate.  I weeped when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and then learned to cope with it.  Now "I'm happy as if I had good sense" - as my Aunt Mill used to say.
