JS - Clever sign you have there.  I was about ready to take aim at the 'O', but looked again & decided I didn't want to risk grazing Sarah - oh yeah, plus, what you stood to lose standing directly behind the 'O'.

Pool Guy - Yes, about a zillion other vets thought the same of Gen. P, but many of us are 'disappointed' by his announcement.  As a 'hybrid independent', he could've announced his candidacy instead & been guaranteed a landslide victory.  He's free to vote his conscience, of course, but I just wish he'd kept it to himself (like the rest of us) & left everyone wondering.

Gordy - I don't really have a good snappy name for your batch of 'TX Red', but I'll gladly share a great slogan I saw on a bumper sticker about 15 yrs ago: "Real Chili - It's Not Just For Breakfast Anymore!".  I liked it so much that I had my chili crock-pot custom air-brushed with it - still works.  Whatever label you wind up with, if you could get away with it, I'd add a P. S. on the package that read: "Warning - Don't F*rt Tonight or Tomorrow!"

Sorry to hear that your e-mail is not working. I had just sent you the pictures from my son's wedding that I promised. When you get your e-mail back up and running, let me know. If I need to resend the pictures, I will do it.

Jack, when SNL encourages you to stop by a toy store for this worthy cause....try a "Toys R Us", and not your usual toy store....21 & over.

You're right Shortcake - - AT&T is enough to make me start cussing, drinking & smoking!!!  It wasn't enough they screwed up our pho & DSL service the first 4 wks we were in the house . . .  now they've DEACTIVTED my email address!!  I have Internet access but no email.  Hopefully they'll get around to reactivating it soon!!

Hey everyone who plans to come to the party Nov 1 - - Stop buy a store this week or weekend and pick up a toy for the toy drive!!!!  Bring it to the party Nov 1!!!!!

SNL - your langauage-you are going to have to go wash your own mouth out with soap. Although i have to admit that phone co's often bring that out in you-especially when it comes to your computer.

We went on the walk Sat. morning but could not find Martha so ended up walking w/o her.  Weird thing-a lot of people were getting there after the 1K & 5K were over with. Could not figure that out! Anyway-depending on who you talked to, appeared to be another successful year.

Susan - Hope your Dad is recovering and doing good!

Bobby - I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your job come Dec.  But at least you have some warning.  Many of us on the GB have lost our job in the last 5 yrs and it's tough out there.  Start looking now.  Good news is ... qualified nurses are always in demand!

Thanks KMG, I will definitely keep reminding everyone.  Please stop by the local Target, Walmart, etc & pick up a toy or game for a child.  Could be a doll, firetruck, building blocks, Game of Sorry or anything!!!  Bring it unwrapped and we'll put it in the box and Gordy will put it with his stash of gifts for the kids.  He will personally see that the Santa Cops get the gifts.  They know him well there and look forward to his gifts each year.  It's not a requirement to attend the party and please don't feel obligated, but it sure would be nice if we could all support Gordy's efforts to help the kids!

P.S. My darn email isn't working again today.  That #$#%&#$* AT&T is killing me!!  I've had nothing but trouble since we moved here.  Hopefully they'll have it fixed by tmo!  If you need me, call me!
