KMG, I knew we could count on you for some good ones!  Clever!   But what about Dale, Richard & of course JS???  They always have some snappy quips.  And where's wiseacre Shortcake when you need her?  Toni?   any one else got a good slogan for Gordy's Chili Fixin's packed in a stick of dynamite??

For Gordy's chili fixings, how about "Warning: this product will ignite your tastebuds" or "Warning: the bodacious flavor may be addictive and your guests may never leave" or "Warning: for serious chili consumers only, no pantywaists or lightweights".

It's still not too late to join the "Boogity Bears" for the Race for the Cure.  However, if you can't make it and you're in the metroplex area, FOX 4 will be broadcasting from the race beginning at 7:00 am tomorrow morning.

Hey guys & gals, Gordy Johnson, you may know him as "The Salsa Guy", needs your help & wants your opinion.  Actually he wants to tap in to your witty remarks!  No kidding, he has created another item in his food div & it's Chili Fixings!  It is designed to look liked a stick of dynamite & has his seasoning inside.  It will be new for this Christmas.

What he wants is some witty sayings to print on the outside label.   You know, like maybe "Light My Fire" or "Too Hot To Handle", etc.  He said what better place to go than the GB for wit and clever sayings!!  Keep in mind it looks like a stick of dynamite and it has chili seasonings inside.  Let's help Gordy out & give him some DY NO MITE catch phrases!!!  Sorry, couldn't resist!   Post your suggestions.....
Oh, I almost forgot.  He will be at the Nov 1 party & he will bring a stick of dynamite for each of you!

t/w Charles last night and he won't have CT scan results until late tda.  I told him to keep the faith as all of us are pulling for him & we know he will make it thru this!!

I've known Charles since first grade and I know how brave and uncomplaining he has been all these years. He truly appreciates the miracles God has given him over the years to keep him here with us. You have my prayers Charles. You can get through this I know. We love you dearly.

Sandy--Thanks so much for telling us about Charles Moss condition and the terrible struggles he's overcome. He's a wonderful person I've always known that, but had no idea of his health challenges. Indeed he is in my prayers.
BTW Sandy---have you ever considered the "WASTE MANAGEMENT" business? I hear it's very profitable.

The fact that most don't know of Charles' serious health issues goes to show what a brave and never-complaining person he is!  He was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis as a child.  Drs sd he wouldn't live past his teen years.  In his early 20s Drs said he was a walking miracle but would never see 30!  By 40 the Drs were amazed but continued to tell him he should have died years ago and don't expect to see 50!  He was 60 on Aug 31!! But if you ask him how he's doing he always says, "If my feet hit the floor & I'm staring down at the grass rather than up at the roots... it's a good day!"  His father and all the men in his family died before they were 50. He is truly a walking miracle, but he needs one more, as this arterior aneurysm is serious.  Please pray!
