One could argue that Jack Nance's entire life was a movie. But then, are not all of our lives a movie? A movie in which we are not only the actor, but the producer and director. A combination that leaves us in that edgy position of responsibility and accountability. [sidebar: It took 5 years to film Eraserhead??]

I didn't hear back frm Charles yesterday, I called this morning but no answer. He sd Thur night the Dr wasn't sure if he wd have the results back by Fri or not. Just like a Dr... leave you hanging over the weekend! I will let ya'll know as soon as I hear from him. I'll call agn this evening.

Comments: I'm just sick over the news of our friend Charles. Charles and I have been friends long before high school. We went many places together as kids. I knew of his health issues all these years. Life was a party for him. We were room mates for about a year back in the day. Lets pray for him. Charles if you are reading this, get well my friend, I know you will, you always have.

Comments: He could put a warning that if served to guests you may have to add a room due to guest moving in, etc., or don't serve to relatives or they may stay more then 3 days!  Tomorrow is the Koman walk-if you see a body stretched out on the ground-that will be me. Although I have been working out in the Fire exercise room (with the help of James Hawkins!!!) I am still out of shape. Got to stay away from that wine! By the way Jack-met your neice at her salon yesterday. We had a really good conversation!!!!!

Comments: Richard, I"ll get one of the samples he brings to the party and send it to you. If you like it, you can order some from Gordy. We love his salsa and have gone thru several cases. That's our favorite snack while watching NFL on Sunday - - chips & salsa!! He can even customize the label on the salsa and the dynamite chili sticks with you & Mary Ann's name. The salsa or other items make a great Christmas gift to people who can't get good Texas Salsa and it's kinda fun having your name on it.
Comments: So, where do we order "Gordy Johnson's Flaming A** Chili"? Annette (is the same "annette"), I don't think he played Spartacus, but he's made a few "B" movies.....he got blown-up once on the set (really), and took some time off to heal from the burns.....actually, he looked like he'd just spilled some "Gordy Johnson's Flaming A** Chili" all over himself. |
