Hey guys, sorry I missed the get together as I had truly planned to get there but business got to me first.  I was on my way home from Kuwait that day and could not convince the Continental airlines pilot to peddle faster.  That is one heck of a flight!  Hope I can make it next time or I might have to wait until I retire to keep things from getting in the way!
Jack, sorry I missed the dance!

Hey, James Young!! I may be old, but I felt good today. I was at Kroger and ran into the first chair flute in the orchestra I play in. While talking, she found out I was 61 today. She thought I was in my late 40s....or 50 at the most. Now, years ago, I would have thought 50 was old. But it sure sounds young now.

Hey all, It's been a long time since I posted in the GB. Sorry to have missed the mini. Sarah and I have put almost all our efforts and any spare time we can muster up after our day jobs to work on our new internet business. We have our web site up and submitted it to google. We never knew how much work goes into starting a new business. Sandy, guess you can relate. I don't know how you keep your sanity.

We've just started our links to directories, writing articles, press releases, etc etc.

Happy B' Day to my old good friend Ronney.

Keep the faith

Happy B-day Ronney!!  Yep Annette, Ronney is now more than entry level into the 60's decade!

We had a good turnout Sat & as always, some surpise visitors!  Two 66ers who came for the first time (and we hope it won't be their last) were Fred Meier & his wife Patty and Marvin Courte & his wife Maurine.  We also had some of our 65 friends join us, Ricky Theobalt & his wife Elaine (Cl of 68), Craig Johnson & Tommy Barr.  Elaine is the younger sis of Wilbur Wilhite.  Geez, I think we are ALL related somehow!!     It was a fun day & on behalf of Gordy Johnson, I thank you so much for all the toys you brought for the Toy Drive for Santa Cops!!!     In addition, I recvd $50 cash frm those who weren't able to bring a toy due to travel & other things.   I'll buy add'l toys with the money & give to Gordy to go with the rest of the Santa Cop toys.  Ya'll are a generous grp & it makes me so proud to be a part of this grp!!

KMG & KRL -- Thanks for the pics ya'll sent me so quickly.  I'll start working on them tonight & see how many I can get posted.  Good photos girls!!!

Thank you everyone. And, especially you, Annette the Lionette. You made me a whole year younger.

And, Don L., I will be looking for my gold and white C-Bag next year!  Or, maybe a membership to the Prune of the Month Club. Or, instead of a membership to the Cherry Pit, I could have a membershp to the Prune Pit.

Hey Ronney,
Happy Birthday Wishes !!!!! I thought I was late on your BDay Wishes, but it looks like by being late , I was actually on time. Awfully unusual for me to be on time.

Ronney -- Want to wish you a wonderful Happy Birthday to such a funny clever young man.  Aren't birthdays coming around faster?  Seems so to me.

Yep, folks. I'm OLD. And to prove it, at our next get-together, I will waddle in on a walker and show you party tricks you can do with a colostomy bag. Maybe Gordy could bring us samples of his answer to Metamucil. It would come in Spicy Hot, Medium, and Mild.

Hey, that's an idea! Seeing as we are "beginning" to age, we should make some SOC '66 colostomy bags for our classmates.

Gordy, thank you for being so generous.  No body went away empty handed.
I gotta get to work! My ADD has already set in.
