Comments: KMG,.... Mike ? was that the kid that was with you? I thought he was your Nephew ! Insert smiley face here.
Comments: I remember reading about Col. Ripley years ago. What a hero! Jack and Shortcake, you will be surprised to know that despite your best attempts, Mike actually LIKES you guys as well as all the others he met at the mini. He says thanks to all for making him feel so welcome.
Comments: Switching over to factual info now; a Vietnam vet died this week. I've attached his obit for those who may want to read about this guy....talk about Rambo. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/04/washington/04ripley.html?ref=obituaries
Comments: I just want to remind everyone of the SOC luncheon on Saturday, November 15, at 11:00 am at the Cliff Cafe, Belmont Hotel. Details are available at www.soc63.com. Click on "Events".
Comments: Richard, I'm gonna step otta line here with an update on what we have to look forward to in American politics via "Fairness Doctrines." Columbia Univ. Director Replies to Request for Khalidi Tape: 'Yeah, Right ... Loser' POLITICS | Mon, Nov 3, 2008 at 4:54:58 pm PST An LGF reader contacted Columbia University (and a lot of other potential sources, including the LA Times) with a polite request that they help release the tape of Rashid Khalidi with Barack Obama (the video the Los Angeles Times has ... unbelievably ... decided to suppress during a hotly contested election): From: [redacted] To: [redacted] Sent: Mon Oct 27 18:28:41 2008 Subject: Please release Khalidi’s 2003 tape Dear Madam or Sir, It has come to my attention that the LA Times in in possession of a tape recording a 2003 farewell party for Rashid Khalidi. In an article, the LA Times said: “The event was videotaped, and a copy of the tape was obtained by The Times.” This event was attended by Senator Barrack Obama. As this is an election period, as journalists, you have the moral obligation to release any and all information you possess about both candidates. I would be grateful if you can release the videotape. It’s our right as Americans to learn about our candidates. Comments: Sam, missed you and Sarah too. Welcome to the small business world. I know the time sorta picked you, but what timing. When you get a chance, bury some money out back. One important fact that Pool Guy and I have learned is that you have to make yourself take breaks and HAVE FUN. Sometimes it seems impossible to do, but it is necessary. All work and no play not only makes you dull, but angry, tired and leads to mistakes and bad decisions. You not only have to get away from it, you have to do something that keeps you from thinking about it too. I looked at your website. Do you have any literature with more info on what is necessary (equipment and installation)? Is there a good time to contact you?
Comments: Toni- thanks again for breakfast For all all of you less fortunate Toni fixed breakfast for me Saturday morning . Eggs, bacon (just the way I like it), OJ, coffee, fruit - now that is what friends are for. Anyway thanks again! Hey Tallcake - how is your Guy - is he still friends with us all ![]()
Comments: Ok, just to put everybody on notice; we don't want SNL to get into trouble today. There's a federal law which prohibits campaigning within 100 feet of a GB on election day...so, let's not get her sideways with the Feds.
Comments: JD, for as long as you've known me...it's Rogers not Rodgers! Glad you liked your gift and thanks for the call...sorry I couldn't talk longer...had a client with me. JS, Richard, Sally.....I'm feeling rather mavericky myself today....and I can see Russia from my computer....
Comments: Thanks Jack for getting out the accurate information. We all know why JS is feeling all mavericky, and that can only happen if you voted previously for the "Mac cause he is back". Surely anyone who served in the Armed Forces of the United States of America, and bleeds Red, White, and Blue would not be promoting a communistic leader for this great country.
Comments: Happy Birthday Ronney. Great time, Saturday! What a party!! Thanks for NOT kissing me this time, JD!!!!!!!!!!!! Missed you Mike, but we talked about you. in fact, I think we talked about everybody who didn't show up(OH Toni!). You can never tell what you will miss by not being there. Carol, I guess you will have to come in a day early or stay a day late so we can visit next time, SORRY. It was good to see Marvin and Fred and their lovely wives. John, John, there you go again spreading misinformation. Seems to be a party trait. The GOP votes TODAY 7:00 Am to 7:00 PM. The Dims vote 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM tonight/tomorrow. I'm pretty sure everyone got the memo regarding driving. GOP supporters are to drive all day with their headlights on. NOboma supporters drive tonight with their lights OFF. Independents/undecided just WALK. Tallcake (that is KMG for the people who didn't make the party) have you heard from you guy? Hope we didn't scare him off.
Comments: JS -- you're pushing it! Ronney -- doesn't it feel good to have someone tell you they thought you were ALOT younger than you are? Whatever you are doing, keep it up.
Comments: JS - -
Comments: Can you feel the electricity in the air today? Makes me feel all "mavericky" inside. Don't forget to vote over the next two days. Remember, Tuesday is the day to vote if you're voting Democratic or Independent. This year, Republican voters are scheduled to vote on Wednesday, Nov. 5th. Be sure to note the new date on your calendar.
Comments: Happy BD to everyone I have missed. Congrats Mr. McKee...I didn't realize you were 71...I always thought you were pretty smart...were you sick or something since you were held back for so many years? Go Robert Norman... Thank you to Don L, Shortcake and Toni Rodgers Jones for the gifts on Saturday...it may well have been the first time ever I was at a loss for words. Thank you all...the gifts will take their proper place in my home as well as my pocket. Had a great time Sat...always good to see good friends...and all seem to get more attractive every year...well...not the guys...but the Lady's were all HOT!!! |
